Vi's PoV
"Vi?" (Y/N)'s little head peaks fearfully from the door
"Cuddle Bunny?!" I yelp terrified
'What is she doing here? Enforcers are on their way! And if she's here when they do....'
My thought was abruptly interrupted when she runs to me and jumps into my arms, holding as tightly as her little body could do
"(Y/N) what are you doing here?" I ask afraid while she just buries herself more into my chest, starting to sob lowly
"Don't do it!.... please" she sobs a little harder. I stay in shock for as second before embracing her too and tightening my hug longingly. I'm going to miss her so much. "Is the only way to keep you all safe (Y/N), I'm sorry" I whisper against her hair sorrowly
"Then I'm doing it, not you, you're not going anywhere," she fights me while pulling away, looking at me with tears in her eyes. "Please Vi don't leave, we can't lose you. I don't want to lose you too" she goes back to my chest, crying louder
"I'm not letting you get arrested kid," I cares her hair while I could feel my heart break into pieces for having to leave her
'Remember this is the only way to keep her safe Vi... If you do this, she and Powder are going to be ok'
"Besides you're never losing me Cuddle Bunny, I'll just be away for a couple of years, that's all" I try to sound reassuring as I hold back my tears. "Please don't go" her innocent sweet voice came out as a plead for mercy and at this point my emotions betrayed me and I start to cry silently
"I..I have to protect you and Powder" I try to convince myself more than her. I really don't want to do this, I don't want to leave them
"Then stay! How are you going to protect us if you are not here," she hugs tighter before raising her head to me. "Family stays together remember?" She hopefully says with love
"(Y/N) I..." I start but I could make the sound of other footsteps coming. She has to hide, now!. "Listen to me, you're a brave kid and I'm very proud of you," I hold her cheeks sweetly, preparing myself to say goodbye
"Never let anyone tell you You can't do something, Instead you have to prove their ass wrong ok?" she sadly nods as she knows this is the last time will see each other for a long time. I can tell she hates every second of it but doesn't want to let go of this moment
"I love you Cuddle Bunny. With everything I have" I kiss her forehead, holding her tightly, letting go of the tears I've been fighting
"I love you too Vi" she whispers with love and misery as she doesn't want to leave my warmth
"Now hide and don't come out. No matter what, promise me" I sadly force her off my body and point at some boxes at the corner of the room
"I promise. Just.... Just please come back" she pleads brokenly
"You got a deal Cuddle Bunny" I smile before she runs to the boxes and hides behind them. I stand up and clean my tears, looking at the door and waiting for the Enforcers to come in but as the door opens Vander walks in
"Vander?" I ask surprised as he sighs relief. "We don't have much time" he comes to me and holds my cheeks. "How did you find me?" I ask surprised again
"I'm proud of you. Always have been" he says calm and with love. "I'm sorry, I... This is the only way to protect the others" I hold back the urge to cry
"Vander!" Benzo's shouts nervously, telling him they were close
"You've got a good heart. Don't ever lose it. No matter how the world tries to break you," his voice was proud. "Protect the family" he finished with sadness
