(Y/N)'s PoV
"I'm really trying Vi" I sigh as I step next to her in front of the Undercity. Ever since our fight I feel like I failed her... It was up to me to find Powder and it's been eight years and I haven't even remotely find the slightest clue
When I thought Vi was.... I wanted to make her proud, I wanted her to know that even if she was gone Powder and I would look after each other and now that it turned out she was alive.... I'm nothing more than a failure
"I know," she sighs miserably, a hint of regret in her tone. Still looking at the city before looking at me. "I'm.." she was saying before Cait interrupts her
"I heard the bathysphere has a nice view," Cait says nicely as she waves three tickets. "That could be a good way to get a lay of the land" she suggests
"Too risky," Vi simply says before fixing her hood and looks at me. "See you down in the ground (Y/N)" she smirks as me and with that she jumps off the edge
"What?!" I hear Cait yelp terrified as she runs to me, looking down at Vi. Who's jumps to a metal tube before doing a backflip to a roof and then jumping to another, rolling when she lands. Then running toward a tube and swings herself to another roof
'Cool!'
"Show off!" I shout loudly for her to hear and in the distance I could make her laughter, which brings a smile to my face
"Did she just..?" Cait asks stunned. "Yes" I simply answer with a smile on my face as I wait for her to accept our next move, she looks at me and immediately realizes it
"We are not doing that" she shakes her head and completely disagrees with me
"She's right you know, it's too risky. so C'mon" I'm about to jump off when she pulls me back
"Wow wow, hold up, what do you think you are doing?" She asks sternly and worry
"What does it look like?" I pointed at the city
"You can't jump your way down from building to building. What about your leg pain?" She asks concerned
"Exactly! If we go down this way, it's going to be a lot easier to blame my delay on I haven't done this in a while rather than telling her the real reason" I explain
"Why don't you tho? Tell her what happened" Cait asks lowly, a worried frown on her face
'Because if I do. She'll hunt down the men who did it and probably kill them. And as they work for Silco, he'll probably have her killed'
"I...... I can't..." I sighs defeated, looking away. Hating in how much trouble we could, possibly, and most likely, we'll get ourselves into. "Now c'mon, we have to catch up" I sigh sadly and walk to the edge, jumping down and starting our way to the Lanes
