"No."

It was a simple protest, but from a surprising source- Hana had not expected Taehyung to be the first to argue about adding a second omega to the pack. "It's not really optional, Tae-oppa."

"But it's just not necessary," the alpha continued to argue. "We're all happy with the way things are now. Aren't we?"

"They're trying to consider our dear Hana's health," Seokjin pointed out as he sipped his coffee. "I know you care about her well-being, Taehyungie."

Though he stopped outright arguing, the younger man had on the full force of his pout, which was powerful indeed. Hana had to admit that she almost caved to it. He had the softest puppy eyes, cheeks that could puff out, lips that protruded just the right amount. An alpha was supposed to sway people by command, not cuteness, but Kim Taehyung defied that rule. "Can you do it for me, oppa?" she asked sweetly, knowing the only thing she could do was fight fire with fire. Her pleading eyes won out over his, and he muttered that he would try.

"Try what?" Jungkook asked through a yawn as he joined them in the kitchen. He paused as he approached Hana, nose twitching. "Ooh, you smell good noona," he observed cheerily, draping himself over her back and tucking her head beneath his chin. "Yoongi-hyung finally came to your nest?" He cooed when she confirmed it, breathing deeply of orange and almond.

"See, even Yoongi-hyung is comfortable now, we shouldn't bring in another omega," Taehyung repeated. He knew that Jungkook was likely to side with him, so his protests were renewed. "It's too risky. Things are good now."

"We're getting another omega?" the maknae asked. His tone was surprisingly calm, but his arms wrapped tighter around Hana's shoulders. "Are you okay with that, noona?"

"Yes, Jungkookie, they told me from the start that they hoped I wouldn't be solo for long," she said. "And I get to help narrow down the candidates, so I even have a say in who it will be. I think it will be fine."

"I can do it, then," he concluded. "You won't let them choose anyone who will cause us trouble." His bravado did sound a little forced, though, and he removed his chin from her head in favor of burying his nose into her neck. She reached up to scratch his head while he soothed himself on her scent, just as she had done countless times before, and he gave a contented little rumble.

His last hope for an ally gone, Taehyung stood up and left the kitchen, mumbling about getting ready for the day. "Poor Tae," Seokjin sighed. "Good thing he has his appointment with the counselor today. He hasn't been this agitated since... well, he was this agitated when he found out you weren't coming overseas with us, wasn't he?" The eldest alpha looked thoughtful for a moment. "He was feeling better by the time we left. How did you manage to soothe him, then?"

Hana squirmed a little before she could answer. She was still unsure sometimes how much the pack members knew about each other's kinks and quirks in bed- obviously some knew a lot, but some were more private. Taehyung seemed fairly open, though, and Seokjin nonjudgemental. "He needed me to take charge in bed," she admitted. "So he could relax and go under for a bit."

"Hmm, dominant noona?" Jungkook chuckled, breath tickling her neck. "Sounds fun."

"Don't get excited, Kookie, I'm not that good at it," she replied with a sigh.

"It still might be helpful information," Seokjin reassured her, but he would not elaborate further.

"I'm really sorry, Ms. Jo, but none of the candidates you sent me will work," Hana said with a sigh. She had reached that conclusion shortly after the alphas had left for the morning, but it took her until almost noon to work up the courage to call the manager. Even now she could feel the twitching in her fingers as nervous energy coursed through her.
