I'll hold your hand
and whisper your
name like an echo
through the night.
When you are alone
I'll keep you company
and sit beside you
by the flickering
yellows and oranges
of the fire to keep
you warm.
When you are alone
I'll give you my
listening ear and
as long as I
am near we'll
talk all night,
just know that
I am here.
