i'd lived in vanity so many times.

reliving the same season over and over again, so many times.

years ago, i had a choice between being an all powerful, immortal guardian, and being alive.

and i chose life.

i want to be seen, to be admired, to be adored.

when that's all gone, what's left for me?

what will become of my beauty?

my soul, my spirit, my heart?

what will happen to everything i've seen, done, and been given?

there was always hope in jack's eyes that maybe somebody besides me could see him.

but it never happened.

jamie never saw him.

his friends didn't see him.

no one did. no one but me.

he valued having fun over safety. he was the kindest spirit i'd ever met.

he deserved to be viewed by others in the way that i viewed him.
