Alma used to be a homophobe, but several of her children and grandchildren came out as LGBTQIA+. Now she is an ally, and made Mirabel make her a pin thing to wear so she can show her support.
She cried every night for about three years after Pedro's death, and she only did it after the triplets were asleep.
She had a favourite child. Bruno was her favourite, then Pepa, then Julieta. She still loved them almost equally though.
When she first met Pedro, they would do little shows and skits for their families and sometimes the town. Alma was a very good singer when she was young, and Pedro would play the guitar.
Alma had the triplets sleep in her room up until they were almost five, she was terrified she would have to evacuate again.
Alma had cried on a couple of ceremonies. Dolores's, she knew Dolores was in pain but couldn't do anything, so she had cancelled the fireworks midshow. Isabela's, Isa had given her some flowers, which happened to be the ones Pedro had gotten her on their first date. And of course, Mirabel's. I'm sure you already know why she cried at Mira's.
