Before I knew it I was down there, watching it all from the distance, watching them try opening his door. The other driver walking out of the car, only a cut in her head, her phone in her hand. Driving while texting she admitted to the cop, she was crying over what she had done. I watched the ambulance take him away, just like they did with me all those years ago...

"Zoey!", I was back in my house, my grandmother standing in front of me, wiping my tears away. "He is here now, you remember the rules?", I was able to nod trough my tears. "Good", she said lifting her hands. Before I was in the light I had woken up in, not able to cry, stress or anything, just being calm. "Say welcome when you are ready", a voice said. I looked down, on the bed I had woken up on, he was lying there. Ready for me to welcome him, here to heaven, his new home. I had trained for this, this was supposed to be my new job, and he was my first job, my first person to welcome.

"Welcome", I said. His body changing age as my words came out, to the same age as me, the age he was when we where together. "Zoey?", he said, slowly opening his eyes.
