Ace's father was a gang leader. He died when Ace was around 12, so Ace decided to carry on his legacy. When he was 13, he started his own gang- The Pythons. He recruited his friends as different roles, taking on the role of leader as himself.
When Ace was 14, he began dating his best friend and one of his gang members, Hazel. They dated for around two years and broke up in their junior year. Ace and Hazel remained best friends after their breakup.
As if dealing with the gang wasn't enough, Ace also helps his sister Sierra raise her baby, Layla. She gave birth to her at only 15, and Ace was 18 at the time.

2. Ace was your college roommate. He was very secretive, and you didn't know much about his life or past. One day, he came into the dorm holding a 3 year old girl.
"She has to stay here for a bit," Ace told you. "Is that okay?"
