Backstory:Cole was separated from his mother after the nuclear reactor exploded. He was lucky enough find a place to hide from the blast in a shed not to far from tidmath station. When he opened his eyes he met the engine that would change his life Emily. After the radiation settled Cole and Emily left the shed to find Cole's mother. They found her, but not how Cole expected her to be... she was dead. After seeing what radiation could do to humans and seeing how fast everyone disappeared from the area Emily took Cole under her wing not only as her son but her driver and fireman. Together these two travel Sodor to look for survivors and maybe Emily's friends.
