"You will do as I say. Did you fucking understand!?" He choked me with his hand around my throat as he lifted me with the support of the wall behind.

I barely nodded with the amount of movement he provided as his death hold around my neck was crushing me. He loosened his hold and I fell towards the ground, coughing and gasping.

"Now get up and go for your training." He grabbed my jaw in his tight grip and leaned his face towards me, "and do not do anything which will make me angry little boy, or else I'll put you in that underground casket again and this time I swear, I'll make sure you die in there." He growled and pushed me. My back hit the wall once again and I winced due to all the beatings I had gotten.

"O-okay dad," I whispered with my head down.

"What did you say?" My father glared at me and I realized that I had called him dad. He didn't like me calling him that. For him, I was just a soldier to be trained and a king to be made.

"S-sorry sir" I whispered as he glared at more time and left.

____________

There was a time when I used to think that this world I lived in was my hell. It tormented me, tortured me, gave me pain and misery yet I liked the person it made me. The same world I hated made me their king. I liked the bloodlust, I loved those screams and begging and I loved the feeling of crushing their hearts and the look of fear in their eyes. I was a monster, a cruel king who destroyed everyone and everything that came his way. I realized I liked the way this hell burned. I was the king of this hell.

But, it wasn't the real me. I wasn't this cruel, I wasn't my father, I wasn't a monster but he made me one. He made me everything I feared. He made me a sin with no redemption.
He made me a devil.

"We won," Alessia said looking in our direction. She was covered in blood. For any normal person, she would've looked like a demon, a form of death who was ready to take them, but for me, she looked like a warrior, a survivor. That blood was her victory which decorated her like a second skin. She looked deadly, dangerous yet beautiful.

There were bodies everywhere. Blood decorated every corner of my palace like a ruby. A layer of scarlet covered the floors and walls like a blanket.

War

It looked like a battlefield. Blood, dead bodies, weapons, were scattered everywhere. Some bodies were without limbs, legs which were thrown a little away from them. It was a picture of the trail of human misery and degradation.
