Before beginning X-Men Reborn, I wanted to loop everyone in on the type of romance you'll be reading —since I've gotten some comments asking me about this very subject.

I have always loved Logan with all my heart for MANY MANY YEARS...... that being said, after reading many different kinds of Wolverine/OC fanfics and a TON of Werewolf romances, INSTANTLY falling in love with this particular trope, I wanted to write X-Men Reborn showcasing my version of Logan. Specifically focusing on his feral side, which isn't talked about in any of the X-Men movies. Which is a darn shame 😂
A mini crash course in the feral realm: there are many different types of Ferals —which exist in certain Marvel and fanfic universes and other fictional books— and they are known to take on the characteristics/traits of various types of animals.
The most common being:
Felines (Tiger, Panther, Lion, Jaguar, etc)
Reptiles (Snakes, Lizards, Alligators, etc)
Bears (Polar, Grizzly, Black/Brown, etc)
and the lovely Canines (Wolves, Foxes, Coyotes, Jackals, etc)
For Ferals, when they meet their "mate" —their other half/love interest that they were destined to be with— they tend to fall in love a lot quicker than humans. Kind of like an "Insta-Love" trope; which I'm a sucker for. Love at first sight? Sign me up!
And also, when Ferals meet their mate, they have this growing need to protect, nurture, love, and provide for them —like actual wolves; which are one my favorite animals!
So for me, all of my Wolverine fanfics —X-Men Reborn and newer ones I'll be releasing— will show Logan's Canine (Wolf) Feral side. Especially adding in the Wolverine's voice; definitely like the ones werewolves have in werewolf romance novels, minus the shifting. 🐺
