Cali POV
[Me and Klaus go to the front door, Mikael is at the doorway.]
"Hello, Niklaus." Mikael said
So... This is Mikael.. I thought
"Hello, Mikael. Why don't you come in? Oh, that's right. I forgot you can't." Klaus said
"Or you can come outside if you want." Mikael said
"Or I could watch my hybrids tear you limb from limb." Klaus said
[A group of hybrids gather behind Mikael on the lawn.]
"They can't kill me." Mikael said
"True. But it'll make a hell of a party game. All I have to do is rub these two fingers together and they'll pounce." Klaus said
"The big bad wolf. You haven't changed. Still hiding behind your playthings like a coward. You only forget. They may be sired by you, but they're still part vampire. And they can be compelled by me." Mikael said
Next thing I know I'm no longer next to Klaus. I am being held by Mikael he was kneeling behind me with something against my throat.
"Klaus..." I said a bit afraid
"I see you've come across such a rarity that it even astonishes me on how you came across her." Mikael said
"Leave her be!" Klaus said
"You care for this child don't you?" I hear Mikael said near my ear
Klaus didn't say anything
"Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies." Mikael said
I felt the tears welling up in my eyes as I looked into Klaus's eyes..
"Let her go." Klaus said
" If she dies, she will be no more. no more Coyote." Mikael said
"If you kill her you will be no better then us. and my Hybrids will tear you apart." Klaus said
"To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever, with no one at your side? Nobody cares about you any more, boy! What do you have other than those whose loyalty you forced? No one. No one." Mikael said
"I do.." I said as my lip quivered
"Hush sweetheart." Mikael said
[Klaus's eyes start tearing.]
"I'm calling your bluff, father. you wouldn't kill an innocent " Klaus said
"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have to." Mikael said
"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage." Klaus said
[Mikael laughs.]
"Your impulse, Niklaus. It has and will forever be the one thing that keeps you from truly being great." Mikael said
Klaus looked at me and nodded.
Something Klaus taught me. if I ever get into trouble.
I felt my eyes glow and my canines emerge from my teeth where Mikael had a hold of me with the same hand as the knife he had I bit him as hard as I could which resulted in him dropping the knife and groaning in pain. and I took off running as fast as I could towards the woods.
I hid in a nearby cave. my knees close to my chest as I shook. my breathing shallow looking out at the dark horizon of the woods.
I was terrified so terrified... I continued to shake as I held my knees close to me I buried my head in my knees as I started to cry..
