I watched as the two would cuddle up together each day was harder and harder
She slowly took my best friend away from me and she would act innocent

"Good, say you and my son have been distant lately is everything okay?" He asked me

"Between you and me, I don't like Kimberly. She's been pushing Varian around and if you could maybe tell him I'd appreciate it. He'll actually listen to you" Quirin told me worried about his son
"Yeah sure, no problem, have a good day!" I told him with a smile

Charles had always been waiting to take Varian’s spot as my best friend. The guy had a huge crush on me but I didn't feel the same

"Wheres Varian? Is he with Kimberly?" He asked me

"I was just thinking, who puts their girl before their best friend you know?" He said

"Relax, I know she's taken but to just have one night with her would be enough" he said licking his lips

He was right, cause that night when I went to tell Varian about his dads concerns I saw him crying on his bed
"Varian whats wrong?" I asked him
"Y/n, Kimberly cheated on me" he croaked out
I sat down next to him and hugged him doing my best to comfort him
"She's not worth your tears, it was Charles wasn't it?" I asked him
"Yeah" he replied. I was so gonna kill him
"I tried to tell you Varian I really did, but you wouldn't-" He pressed his lips onto mine
What was happening? Sure this was what I've always dreamed of but he still loved her
"Varian!" I pushed him away he had a look of guilt
"Sorry I just" he said tearing up
"I'm sorry Varian but I'm not gonna be your rebound, I also thought you saw me as your 'sister'" I told him standing up
"You heard that?" He asked me looking down

"Why is it that you keep me around? Am I just someone to help you? A shoulder to cry on? A backup?" I asked him

"We're done being friends" I told him opening the door
"Y/n wait please" he pulled me back but I pulled away from him
"You chose her over me, you chose your girlfriend over your best friend Varian. Run to her if your so in love with her!" I told him
"I can't!" He shouted getting angry with me
"Trust me this hurts me more than it does you, all that time you spent with her destroyed me. Go kiss her! Go mess with her feelings!" I told him
"I want you Y/n!" He exclaimed coming after me as I walked downstairs
"You want me to mess with? Do you wanna fuck me Varian?! Do you like when I'm defenseless?" I asked him oblivious to the guests his dad had over
"No!" Varian exclaimed
"Then what is it that you want? Cause it's obviously not my friendship that we've had for sixteen years!" I shouted
"Y/n!" Varian shouted at me
"What?!" I lashed out he looked surprised but kept his ground
"I like you as a friend, you’re someone I can trust. Your everything to me and no one else can change that" he told me
"Bullshit" I replied and walked out of the door "Thats what your full of Varian, bullshit" I closed the door
He sighed and ran after me outside where people were continuing with their day
"Fine! I'm full of bullshit so what?!" He shouted making heads turn
"Varian knock it off your making a scene!" I scolded him
"So what? Shut me up then! Or are you scared too?" He asked me
"You aren't my best friend anymore so why should I listen to yo-" I slapped him and tears stung my eyes
"Just because Kimberly broke your heart doesn't mean that you have to start spiraling, I never want to see you again" he stood infront of me holding his cheek
I walked into the crowd disappearing from his view and that was it, this was how it all ended
