Side Quest

"Huh. What!?" Questioned Kirito.

"You're working with the thief aren't you?" Responds Emilia progressively getting more angry.

"Look lady I don't know what's going on I just woke up in mid air and fell on you so if you would excuse me I got to get going, and find out where I am."

As Kirito steps back from Emilia and starts walking away he hears a call from her again.

"Hey! Can you at least help me a bit. You did knock me off my shoes so you need to help me a bit. I'll repay back in any way I can."

Kirito turns around slightly annoyed. "What do you mean I 'need to help you' I had nothing to do with... hmm on second thought alright I'll help you on your little fetch quest."

"Fetch quest? Nevermind do you have any ideas to find her?"

Kirito contemplates her question before respond, "Hmm ideas wait let me check something." Kirito tests out if he can still use his menu. 'Hmm it still works. Wait why are all my stats lower than before. Well at least I have all my items including Yui...'

Kirito already satisfied with his search on his menu finally says, "Alright before we start my name is Kirito."

"... Satella. My name's Satella."

Kirito clearly doesn't buy her bullshit but goes along with it anyways.

"Hmm alright 'Satella' follow me before I burn my eyes out."

"Wait, what do you mean your gonna burn your eyes out?!"

Kirito then proceeds to activate his detective eyes and sees footprints everywhere but notices some recent looking footprints that where heading up a building.

"Hey 'Satella' did your thief run up a building or seemed like she could have before my grandiose appearance?"

"Umm she was really~ fast so she could have."

Kirito sighed. "Alright then let's go and find your lost thing."

Kirito and 'Satella'(Emilia) start following the footsteps on the roof for about an hour before reaching the slums.

"God what kind of place is this. If I didn't know any better I would've thought we've crossed into a budget version of district 12."

Even if Satella didn't get what he said she knew it wasn't nice."Hey that's not very nice!"

"Well neither is this place." Responded Kirito but then continues, "But I shouldn't be surprised your thief would be around in this place seeing as no one who steals from someone wouldn't have ended up here."

"That's not really~ nice but I guess you have a point. But are you sure she's here?"

"No doubt in my mind she's here but I have to turn of my detective eyes because I can't handle the pain for any longer."

"Pain!? I thought you were kidding about burning your eyes out!" Satella then grabs Kirito and sits him down on a nearby stump. "Here I'm not the best healer but this should ease the pain."

While Kirito was getting healed he came up with a new plan to find the thief.

"Alright 'Satella' let's go ask one of these guys for directions cause I'm not gonna burn myself again for the next few days."

Kirito walks up to a man whispers into his ear then pulls out a pouch of coin from his coat and hands it over to the guy. He then returns back to 'Satella' to tell her where they need to go.

Kirito POV

'Who would've thought that the second I got transported here my col instantly got converted into copper coins. Like c'mon make some stronger money or something Kayaba. I'm practically giving these peasants bags of pennies.'
