A black van is parked on one of the streets of Adventure City
In one of the alleys, Javier, Ryder and the pupps look out, without attracting much attention, and see the truck.
Ryder: That's the van?
Javier: Yup
Skye: Wow, how elegant.
A man in a suit gets out of the van, and he has a serious look
Ryder (Surprised): Dad...
Ryder grabs his binoculars and puts on a headset to listen to his father.
Julián's assistant gets out of the car
Julian's assistant: Mr. Zachary, you have a meeting today at 2 p.m., then another at 4 p.m., and finally one at 6 p.m.
Julian: Perfect. Thanks a lot. Hey...
Julian's assistant: What's up, sir?
Julián: I'm leaving town for a while, and when I come back... the people don't stop talking abouta team called the PAW Patrol.
Ryder (Concerned): Uh oh
Julian's assistant: Oh yes, sir. I've gotten information on them, and they seem to be a rescue team. All members are pups
Julián (Confused): Pups?
Julián's assistant: Yes, but they are very capable and brave. Not long ago, they saved the entire city from Mayor Humdinger and his crazy plans. The outcome was, they put him in jail. Since then, they take care of Adventure City
Julian: How interesting. I think I know who they may be, I've seen their faces on merchandise from various stores
Ryder and the pups look at each other a bit nervously.
Julián: Well, as long as they keep the city safe, all good. I don't want anyone to lose a loved one, I know what that is
Ryder is sad to hear those last words. But his look is serious again
He takes off his hearing aid
Ryder: Pups, it seems that he already knows them. The merchandise worked too well
Marshall: And that's bad?
Javier: No, because as long as Javier doesn't find out that Ryder is the leader of PAW Patrol, everything will be fine.
The pups breathe a sigh of relief.
Javier: Let's just hope it stays that way until we find a way to tell him.
Ryder: Better until he leaves Adventure City again.
Interior - Javier's Office - Day
Julián is in his office, reviewing some papers. But he stops, seeing a photo of Ashley
He takes the picture and looks at it wistfully
Julián: Ashley... It's been 5 years since you left, and I still miss you so much, my love. You were a great woman, a great wife...

Julián (Sad voice): And a great mom. Ryder is the memory of the great love we had, even though... I haven't seen our son in a long time. Everything has changed since you left... and I would do anything as long as you were with us, Ashley.
