Exterior - Adventure City Streets - Night
Ryder and Julian are walking through the streets. They both have angry expressions on their faces.
Ryder (Annoyed): I don't understand why you got like this. Ephraín just made a simple comment
Julián (Annoyed): A comment that I didn't like at all.
Ryder (Annoyed): Why? Why did she say I didn't follow my mom's path? To tell the truth, I would have liked to follow it
Julián (Annoyed): Don't say that again, Ryder. You know very well what I think of rescues
Ryder (Annoyed): (Averting his gaze) And that you were a rescuer before
Julián (Annoyed): You said it. I was. That's a thing of the past, of our past
Ryder (Angry): No, it will be yours. Although I have gone to live with my uncle, my mother is still present, including the rescues. And no one is going to change that
Julián (Seriously): (Touches Ryder's shoulder with his hand) Ryder, please... look, let's talk
Ryder (Angry): (Removes Julián's hand) If you're going to continue with that attitude... I have nothing to talk to you about.
Ryder runs off
Julián watches him go and his face reflects sadness
Interior – The Lookout (Middle Room) - Night
Javier and the pups are playing Pup Pup Boogie
As they dance, their gazes are thoughtful
Javier (Concerned): I wonder how Ryder is doing?
Chase (Concerned): I hope he's okay.
Javier and the pups hear some footsteps, they turn around and see Ryder enter the room.
Marshall: Ryder. you came back!
Ryder (Smiling): Look, what I brought you.
Ryder brings out the snacks
Rubble (Happy): Yomi!! Tasty!
The pups walk over and Ryder places the food on each of their plates.
Javier: And you, nephew?
Ryder (Angry but with a smile): (While pouring himself a glass of water) Me? Well, it was great for me. Super good. Fantastic
Javier doesn't look convinced and raises an eyebrow
Ryder (Annoyed): Well, not quite. Everything was going well, until we brought up the issue of rescues. My dad got upset and we didn't have to go.
Zuma: So, not everything went wellt, did it, dude?
Ryder (Annoyed): Well no. I was hoping my dad would have changed a bit, but he's still the same as ever!
Ryder starts up the stairs, and his face reflects anger.
Ryder (Angry): Grumpy, unwilling to listen. He is my dad, only in name, because he stopped being my dad a long time ago!
Ryder reaches his room and slams the door hard, causing a loud crash.
Rubble: Wow, I've never seen him so upset.
Javier and the pups look worried

Ryder walks into his room and lays down on his bed.
