III: Botanic Legends

Arrows started shooting at every direction towards a purple fog, while magic spheres were launched into there,

Zombies kept emerging from the fog before they were turned into a pile of corpse from all the projectiles heading at them

The zombies wearing cones and metal buckets only lasted for a bit before their only defense was taken off and then they had their head popped off.

"Keep on shooting!" The elves within the tall trees shot their arrows at the zombies, they were running out of arrows and the zombie horde kept depleting it

"Augh!" Two elven mages collapsed but kept themselves up with their staves, they had recently depleted their mana reserves, keeping up their magic attacks would result in their bodies being stressed
They had to stop and rest themselves

"You did well my elven brothers"

The exhausted elven mage smiled at the archer, whom in turn smiled back

The elven archer turned behind him "we can't keep this defensive position up! We're gonna need backup!"

The other defending elves nodded

"Request the Roscrian Kingdom for help!"
"I got your order!" An elven archer on a horse then went back, her horse galloping into a direction where the Capital city of Roscria is.
"Good luck out there!"
"May the Gods of Llorias lead you to the right path!"

The defensive elves went back to keeping the zombies at bay

The horse kept on galloping, the orange sky above her was covered by a tint of purple fog, Ayred Chayballa looked at the path infront of her
Which unsurprisingly was also covered by purple fog, meaning there were dangers of these humanoids about to attack her

Not long after her horse stopped in their tracks, it stepped away before rising, almost making her fall from her horse
"Woah woah easy there!" She looked at the path again to see these same monsters that started attacked her home village
"Brainz!"
"Aargh..."
She immediately grabbed her bow and started shooting at the pale green men infront of her, each arrow impaling only the heads.
and each zombie that was hit, dropped dead

However this was not enough, she was surrounded by more zombies around her "oh for the love.. of Llory.."
She pointed her bows at the zombies around her, and she began sweating.

A bright flash covered her left view, it was from one of the hills in the distance.
All of the zombies and Ayred herself watched the unnatural phenomena happened infront of their eyes
"B-brainz?"
"What in the gods name is-"
And then a huge blast of wind came towards them, sending the purple fog away and even clearing up the darkening sky before thousands of what seems to be peas rain at their direction

Ayred covered herself instinctively, closing her eyes and expecting the peas to hit her,
Nothing is hitting her.

She opened her eyes to see the pale green men from left to right, and all around her get hit by the peas, every last one of them all had their heads knocked off from their bodies before they all dropped dead

She stared in awe before the rain of peas stopped, the light in the distance began to fade into obscurity.

Then she remembered something
"Oh shoot!"
She and her horse immediately took off into the distance once again, once she did her task, she'll question the events that happened earlier.

Every person that witnessed the light and the raining peas would spread the news towards other neighboring lands. Conspiracy theories formed around the continent
