General POV
Ricky and Nini walked through the streets of their town, making each other laugh the whole time.
The two talked about their teachers at East High, their friends and weird families.
Although the talk of family make Ricky feel uneasy, he pushed those feelings aside and continued to talk to Nini.

"Wait.. you lived in california??" Ricky asked with a surprised look on his face.

"Yeah! Why?" Nini replied with a smile.

"Ugh. It's always been my dream to move to california. I don't know why," Ricky told her, " I can't wait to leave this dump and move there."

"Well it's not as interesting as it might seem. And in case your wondering you don't just see a celebrity walking down the street," Nini laughed. Ricky laughed along with her.

"Have you met any celebrity's before?" Ricky asked a moment later.

"Eh.. not really," Nini admitted.

The two new friends continued their friendly walk. Ricky instantly felt better with Nini distracting him from everything going on.

"Hey wanna get some coffee in there?" Nini pointed to the coffee shop across the street.

Ricky's POV

"Hey wanna get some coffee in there?" Nini asked with a smile and pointed to the bakery/coffee shop across the street. Me and my friends would hang there all the time.

"Sur-," I started.

I was just about to go with her, until I saw inside the window.

My friends.

It's not like I was embarrassed by Nini, it's just that my friends would think we were like dating or something.
I just couldn't let that happen.

"Uh sorry I can't.. I should.. probably get home," I told her nervously.

"Oh um.. ok! That's totally fine. See you around Ricky," Nini responded and I could tell it threw her off.

"Uh.. thanks for.. uh talking to me I guess," I said awkwardly.

Nini laughed, " no problem."

"See you around Nini," I told her with a smirk.

She groaned," not my name dummy."

Nini's POV

After my talk with Ricky I still decided to go to the coffee shop. It looked cool and worth checking out.

I walked inside and took a deep breath in.

I smelled all the fresh baked goods of new baked bread, donuts, bagels.. and what's that? Cupcakes.

I absolutely LOVE cupcakes!!! They are like my favorite thing ever.

I needed to get one.

I walked up to the front to order.

I was greeted with a warm smile.
"Hello! What can I get for you today?" The lady asked.

I should get mamma C and D one too.

"Hi! Can I please have... an iced coffee and three chocolate cupcakes please?" I told her with a grin.

"Of course! What's the name for that order?" The lady asked.

"Nini- I mean Nina," I accidentally said. Ughh. Ricky seriously has to stop calling me that.
I then paid for my drink and food.

"Okay. You can take a seat anywhere until the orders ready."

I took a seat near the window and went on my phone until the order was ready.

"Nini?"

I heard the wrong name called. Ugh. She probably didn't hear me correct the name.

I stood up and grabbed my coffee and drink.

While I was taking pictures of my coffee and cupcake, a gang of people walked toward me...
"Hey Nina."

Ricky's POV
I was honestly just wandering down the street like a weirdo.

I didn't know where to go... or what to do. I just knew that I couldn't go home.

I sat down at a random bench next to the neighborhood park and grabbed my phone from my pocket.
A bunch of texts and missed calls from my dad and Mrs. Jenn.
Instead of replying I just opened up instagram.

Nini posted on her story.. and it's a picture of the coffee shop. Oh crap.

I ran down the street as fast as I could, without seeming like a criminal running from the cops or something.
If my friends see her, I know for a fact they will talk to her. Then they will tell her a bunch of crap that's not true... and I don't know what to do.

I pushed the coffee shops doors open with all my might, and looked all around.

Sure enough, there were my friends talking to Nini.
