Nakabalik din siya ng Pilipinas, she thought at first she would never be able to return, but things change. Gabi na nang makarating sila.
"We are staying in a hotel for tonight. Tomorrow we will go to your house. Is that okay for you?" Zayd asked.
"Huh?"
"Are you okay?" there is a tone of concern in his voice.
"Pagod lang siguro ako. Matagal pa ba 'yan?"
"Just settling the bills then we can go upstairs."
"Sige, I'll just wait for you in the lobby."
"Okay."
Hindi pa man nakakauwi sa kanila ay kinakabahan na siya. She was startled when Zayd pat her.
"Let's go."
She nod.
The next day... as planned, they went to their house and to get there they had to ride a tricycle. She didn't realize that the tricy had stopped and they were already in front of her house.
"Nayeli? We're here."
"Sorry. I don't think I can, Zayd."
"Come on, it's alright, I'll be right here."
Zayd forced her to knock on the gate. Later, Julius Vin's opened it. Halatang nagulat ito nang makita siya. Niyakap siya nito.
"Masaya ako na umuwi ka na ate."
"Sina nanay?"
"Nasa loob, pasok kayo."
Since she returned to Milan, she never talk to her parents. Tumatawag lang siya kay Vin kapag magpapadala na siya ng pera.
She turn cold and couldn't take a step. Zayd pulls her close so she looked up at him.
"Like I said I'm here" he whispered then winked at her.
She took a deep breath and then they went inside. She immediately saw her parents. They age a little. Niyakap siya ng ina.
"Ayeng, mabuti naman at nakauwi ka. Buong akala namin hindi ka na talaga uuwi at ayaw mo na kaming makita. Kumusta ka na anak?"
"Ayos lang 'nay. Pasensya na po kung madalang akong tumawag."
"Naiintindihan namin ng tatay mo. Malaki ang kasalanan namin sayo. Patawarin mo kami kung pakiramdam mo eh mas mahal namin si Dami sayo."
"Kalimutan na po natin' yon nay. I came back here because I want to live without holding a grudge against you."
"Salamat, Ayeng. Teka, sino naman itong kasama mong pogi?"
"He is Zayd, my boyfriend."
"Ganoon ba."
"Hello ma'am, I'm Zayd Kieron Marques" he introduced.
"Magandang umaga sayo, my daughter is lucky to have a boyfriend as handsome as you."
"Marunong po magtagalog 'yan nay, mukhang foreigner lang" she interrupted.
"Ganoon ba, sana sinabi mo para hindi na ako nahirapan mag-ingles."
"Ako po ang maswerte kay Nayeli ma'am" Zayd said while glancing her.
