Marinette Dupain Cheng was the smartest person at Collège Françoise Dupont, not only is she one of the popular girls but she has great taste in fashion.

Adrien Agreste the school's most popular quarterback and bad boy, but what do these two completely different people have in common?

The only thing they would ever agree on would be having the same love of coffee served from Le Caféothèque.

After scoring badly on his maths test for the second time in a row, Adrien needs to get his grade up if he wants to stay the star quarterback unless he plans to get kicked off the team.

Adrien's perspective

I have no idea what to do we were just handed back our maths tests this morning and during practises coach had come to me and said If I didn't get my grades up I would be benched till I did there was also a chance I could be off the team if I didn't get them up soon.

I walked out of the school doors on a Friday afternoon, kids were all hanging out with their friends but I didn't have time for that. The only thing on my mind was how I planned to get my grades up.

The coach had suggested getting a tutor saying they would teach me and by the next test I would pass and keep my spot on the team.

As I walk down the stairs of Collège Françoise Dupont, I see Marinette Dupain Cheng talking with her friends, everyone knows who she is. The girl loves fashion and is the smartest person in school along with being really popular.

Though some say she's always seen with a cup of coffee.

Maybe I could get her to tutor me, I think to myself as I walk down to her. Walking up to her I see her with a brunette with glasses she was in the school newspaper I think.

"Marinette, can I talk to you for a moment?" I ask her, she says goodbye to her friend and turns to glare at me.

Does she hate me or something, "Can I help you?" she asks with her hands crossed over chest.

"Um, yeah can we talk about this somewhere a little bit more private?" I ask her and she looks at me confused.

"How about that coffee shop, your drinks on me if you agree to listen" I tell her and she gives me a nod and we walk to the Le Caféothèque.

Walking inside we take a seat at a booth and a waiter comes up to ask "what can I get you?" he asks, "I'll take a cappuccino" Marinette said he wrote that donw on his note paf giving her a nod and turned to me.

"A black coffee" he gave another nod "anything else?" he asked and we both shook our heads with that he left.

I turned to look at the girl in front of me and she had a scowl on her face, did she hate me or something.

"What do you want?" she asked, getting straight to the point, "I want you to tutor me" I said simply she looked taken back at what I had just said.

"Why??" she asked confused, "I failed my past two maths tests and if I don't get my grades up I'll be off the team. I need your help to make sure that doesn't happen" I told her.

"Why should I??" she asks, watching me as I was about to respond. The waiter came back, placing down our drink, before heading back.

"I'll get my dad to introduce you to a famous designer like Coco Channel or Jean-Paul Gaultier, if you help me out" I told her. She looks at me as if I was joking.

"You're the school's bad boy, how do I know you won't just play me for a fool?" she said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Sure I was the school's bad boy and played a couple pranks here and there, so what doesn't mean I'm a complete jerk.

I look at her and remember she always has coffee with her, I could possibly use that to my advantage.

"How about a bet, you clearly love coffee if you can go till my next test which is in two weeks without it and help me study. I will buy you as much coffee as you want for a month and introduce you to some designers," I proposed the idea.

At this point I was glad my father was rich or else I would not be able to play for a month's worth of coffee. Seriously, she always had a cup with her.

I looked at her and I could see her eyes calculating all the possibilities she sighed before holding her hand.

"Fine, but if you trick me into giving up coffee for two weeks and I don't end up meeting a designer, you're dead meat," she said glaring at me.

I chuckled "princess if you're trying to be scary, it's not working. All you are is adorable but I'll hold up my end of the deal if you hold up yours," I tell her.

"1 don't call me princess 2 meet me at the park across from the cafe at noon tomorrow" she said, holding her hand out for me to shake.

We shook hands and with that she left on her way home, one thing was still on my mind why did she hate me.
