Chapter 14

We're now in fancy restaurant. Well Dr. Montreal asked me to eat lunch. So I decided to go with him because Zelle was at work to give birth to woman earlier.

"How's food?"

"Okay lang."

"Anyway, I heard Dr. Dongza give you a 1 week break."

"Yeah. It's true."

'Well, it's good for you though."

I just nodded to him then I felt someone staring at me so I attempted to look around and I saw a man. A man with a bitch woman. But I look around again but no one staring at me. Do I look like assuming?

While we were eating I saw a man stand up and go outside. Well, I can smell his scent because our table is the place where people will pass by. His manly scent can make woman hypnotized but I wake my senses when someone taps my shoulder.

"Yes?"

"Ahh... You look thinking deeply. I'll just go to restroom. Are you okay here?"

"Yeah. I am."

He just nodded and I continued to savor my food. Suddenly I feel someone in my back. I looked up then it was him.

"What?"

"Nothing.  Enjoy your food," he said and left.

Siraulo ba yun. I saw them stand up and pass in our place. But suddenly I saw tissue beside my plate. So I checked it and there's a wrote.

"I'll get you. Soon."

What the? Who the hell left this freaking tissue on my table? Creepy.
But instead to think I continue to eat. Ang sarap ng food nila dito. After  a minute I'm totally done then kanina pa nakabalik si Dr. Montreal.

"Are you good to go?"

"Yeah. Let's go."

We were in the middle of a walk when he spoke.

'You saw a man?"

"Where?"

"The man earlier at the other table. I can't remember his name but his  a known businessman in the country and I think his also in medical field."

"Ahh.." I said. I don't know what to say because I'm not interested though. We're already inside the car. He's the who drove until we arrived in the hospital. Well, this my last duty because tomorrow is start of my one week break.

I walked but things happened, Someone nurse ang nakabunggo namin looked up and spoke.

"God. Buti na lng po dumating kayo, sa OR doc."

I just nodded and I walked as I could and wore the operation clothes code. In the room I saw a man that I didn't know. We're 3 here, me and the two doctors I know the other one it's a woman but a man,  I didn't know him. Together with 2 nurses.

But instead of thinking about a man I focused on my job and did an operation. We performed an operation in 7 hours but suddenly after the operation the man instantly went out and when I followed him. I didn't see anything.

Weird.

I just go to the other room to change and clean myself. After I cleaned myself I went to my office then I saw Dr. Montreal assessing other patients.

"Need help?"

"Nah. No need kakalabas mo lang galing operating room. Just rest."

I nodded but instead of listening I went to other patients and assessed them. A toxic duty again. Well, this is my last for this week. After, assessing all the patients we're already done at 9:00 pm.

I sighed. And looked around and I saw Zelle walking towards me.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. Tired,"she said and smiled.

We're in the middle of talking when I remember the man earlier in the OR. So I asked Zelle.

"Ahh...Zelle do we have another surgeon?"

"Wala naman. Bakit?"

"Nothing. I just asked."

Well, who are you?  saw how man works in the OR. He's professional and badass. He's really good without lies.

"Anyway, I'll just go to cafeteria I'll just talk to someone," Zelle said.

"Go."

She nodded and waved her hands. I went to nurse station and asked about the patient in room 46.

"Nurse."

"Yes, doc."

"How's the patient in room 46?"

"Ahhm..Doc naka discharged na po kanina lang."

I just nodded and walked to my room. I know it not his time to be discharged but it's was their decision. Well, the kid is totally fine. I sighed and leaned in my swivel chair.

I want to rest just now. But before I fell asleep my phone vibrated and it was still from unknown number.

What the? It means that man was the owner of this freaking number. Gosh what's with this mystery happening to me? But before I think a lot there's another message

I don't know what to do but only thing I know it gives me a headache.
