mayflies and other oddities

under haunted skies

it's funny how we get so used to some things.
like if you put up a picture in your room, in a matter of days it becomes normal.
and when you take it down, the room seems empty, almost. missing something that belonged.

the world is prepped and geared for change.
turning from one thing to the next with ease.
until everything in it is rearranged.
and it seems like I am the only one who is not appeased.
for I cannot handle the changes, that come without guarantees.
