Chapter 15

Anne's POV

I jumped out the window after Burt and followed him into the town he noticed me "Anne I need you to get everyone outta here out" he said "Ok" I said then I got every frog outta Wartwood and told them to stay where they are they did then I went to go find Burt I found him and he did it "They're ok" he said "Thanks" I said "No problem" he said then after awhile we waited for the monster patrol of Newtopia to show up after a few minutes they didn't show up and Marcy woke up from being stunned she went to attack Burt for shooting her I didn't want her to so I stood in front of him "No don't he did it because the monster patrol of Newtopia are one their way and they will hurt you unless we get you under that stun dart again" I said she stopped and nugged her head down and put her snout under my hand so I could rub her "What are you doing" Burt asked "This seems to clam her down" I said "Wait her" he asked "Yep it's a her" I said "Ok" he said after awhile I stopped rubbing Marcy's snout and then Burt raised his gun to shot her wit a stun dart again, I lowered his hand, shoke my head, then grabbed his gun outta his hand, and raised it at Marcy I thought she'd be more comforble with me doing it it hurt to do I closed my eyes and shot it didn't work I tried again nothing I checked the gun the dart was jammed I was about to take the gun apart until I saw something on the path to Wartwood five Newts with a cart with sraps on them were coming I freaked out it was the monster patrol of Newtopia I tried to get the dart unjammed I was scared I couldn't so I tossed down the gun and turned to Marcy, put my hand on her arm, pet it a little, then I spoke "Run" I said she turned around and ran off I didn't know where I knew she didn't wanna leave me the monster patrol of Newtopia came in me and Burt came up to them "So where is the monster" one of them asked "It was here" Burt said "Are you saying to got away" the same one asked "No but-" he said but was interrupted by the monster patrol Newt "Then what happened to it" the newt said he grabbed Burt by the neck "It ran away earlier today I don't think you will be able to find it" he said "Tell us where it is" the newt said "I don't know" Buurt said the newt was about to start choking Burt but I stepped in "Let go of him" I said the newt dropped Burt "So your the second human Newtopia was talking about" he said "Yeah you got a problem" I said "No I just want to know where the Marsafur is" he said "Well you'll never find it, it ran away from here" I said "Don't temped me" he said "I told you the first time do you need me to tell you again the Marsafur is gone" I said he gave me a angry look then grabbed my neck and started to choke me I wasn't doing so good I was losing air fast then I heard hard footsteps run towards me the newt looked then smiled next thing I knew Marcy tackled the newt he let go of my neck I could breath again she growled at him he didn't seem scared and was smiling she was saving me he was strong he pushed Marcy to back up she did it turned into a fight between the newt and Marcy I tried to help but Burt made me let it happen after a few minutes of fight the newt had scratches all over him he called his patrol to help him I couldn't do anything I watched this in horror Burt was right the took her down, then put a muzzel on her, and then shot her with two stun darts I cired after it happened they had her on the cart sraped down I walked up and petted her head in between her horns then they drove off I couldn't do anything Burt helped me back inside the building and I went to the infirmary for help on my scratch they healed it up pretty good after that I went up to my room and layed on my bed I couldn't belive this happened I wish the dart never got jammed I knew Marcy came back for me I layed there for so long until I fell asleep I fell asleep in my clothes my gear lucky I took off my torso guard, my elbow and knee pads, and googles off before the next day I went back to trainning but a got off before everyone else since what just happened the end of the day I got ready for bed and it took longer for me to sleep this night I woke up in the morning and did the same thing for the whole day then went to sleep I woke up in the morning I went to trainning and did that for most of the day I got some breaks just to refresh and focus I wonder what's happening in Newtopia right now probably Marcy is in a cage and really confused I went out for a minute and sat on a bench I was scared then I heard someone come out the trainning room they sat next to me and patted my back I looked up at them it was Burt "Hey captain" I said "Hey are you ok" he asked "Yeah thanks for letting me have breaks" I said "Yeah don't metion it can you tell me who the Marsafur was" he asked "Yeah I'm ready just don't freak out ok" I said "Ok I won't" he said "The Marsafur is....Marcy" I said "Marcy" he said "Yep" I said "Wow when you found out you must've been in shock" he said "Kinda" I said "Do you want me to stay with you until you feel better" he asked "Yeah" I said "Ok I'll stay" he said we stayed for a few minutes I thought about going to Newtopia and busting Marcy out "Are you ready now" Burt asked me "Yeah but I want to go to Newtopia and bust Marcy out" I said "Anne that's dangerous but that's a good idea...go she needs you" he said I nodded my head and went to get everything ready when I did Burt was waiting for me outside "Are you sure you want to do this" Burt asked me "Yes I knew to she is my friend I'm not leaving her there" I said "Ok go also I'm sorry Anne I think most of this is my fault" he said "No its not you didn't know" I said "Thanks" he said "Yeah" I said then we said goodbye and I ran off to go to Newtopia I had to do this on my own I need to save her she saved me back there so I was returning the gesture.
