The point is, I'm utterly bad with sci fic stuffs. This is probably the second sci fic genre cover I'm doing and I'm personally not so satisfied with the final product. The prompt would've been pretty easy if it was fantasy or paranormal genre. But the tricky part was the genre. Anyways, I'm too lazy and too busy to redo it again, so here we go!

Story behind the cover from my side:

In the cover the main focus is the mentally ill doctor Truang who has been carrying out a secret research over a person for 4years, however gradually turned into a complete psycho when his plans didn't work out. At this point he started torturing over the test subject with different torturing and electric shock tools (idfk if there's any other term for it).  When one day his friend Jacob came to visit him, he suspected something was wrong from the doctor's behaviour. Stalking him at midnight, Jacob found out his secret, however when he tried to save the test subject, he got caught red handed by Truang. When Jacob asked why didn't he tell this to anyone including him, Truang answered,

" If I told you my secrets you'd never look at me the same. "

And then Jacob found obscurity ascending in front of his eyes while Truang hit him behind his head with a heavy object. Was Jacob alive or dead? Even if he's alive, will he be ever able to be free or be a new test subject in the laboratory?
