Chapter 302

Matt's POV:
After having a nice supper with Gabby, I smiled as I finished doing the dishes. Going to walk over to the living room where Gabby was waiting, I smiled as I was about to go sit with her when I heard a knock on the door. "That must be him." Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "Remind him that he's sleeping in your office." I smiled and agreed with her. "Told you it'd be a good idea to put a murphy bed in there." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that. Going to walk over to the front door, I smiled as I went to go open it to see Antonio there. "Hey."

Antonio smiled when I told him that. "Evening." Walking up to me, he came to hug me and just smiled at me. "How's Gabby doing?" I sighed when I went to look at her. "I'll talk to you after you go say hi to Gabby. I know this was out of the blue so...you deserve answers." He agreed with me and nodded when I said that. Going to close the door behind him, she smiled and then went to set his bags down. Grabbing them, I smiled and then went to bring them towards the stairs. Meanwhile, Antonio walked into the living room so that he can see Gabby. "Hey sis."

Gabby smiled when he said that. "Hey Antonio, thanks again." Going to walk up to him, Gabby went to hug him and smiled. "Hey, it's okay Gabby. I know that you are a bit spooked. And I know that Matt would only call if it's an emergency." I sighed when he said that. "I just want Gabby to rest in bed as much as possible. And I just want some help with the boys. If you can stay here at least tonight, it'd be great." Antonio agreed with me when I said that. "Hey, I can stay as long as you need me to." I smiled and agreed with him. "And you can watch the kids."

Antonio laughed. "No sex while I'm here." Gabby shook her head. "We are going to see my doctor in the morning. I am not going to do anything that will raise my blood pressure." Antonio agreed with Gabby when she said that. He then turned to look at me. "Matt, do you mind bringing my bags upstairs? I would like to talk to my sister. I want to know how she's doing. I'm just worried...I guess after having such a hard delivery last time..." I agreed with Antonio when he said that. "Sure. Anyways, we need to give the boys a bath." Gabby agreed with me.

"Can you do that for me while I talk to Antonio for a bit?" I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she asked me that. "Of course I can Gabby. Just take a breath and talk to your brother. Tell him what's going on in your head. I know that talking to someone else can sometimes help you. Antonio, I want a report afterwards." Antonio laughed and agreed with me when I told him that. "Of course man, I promise." I nodded and agreed with him before looking at Gabby. "I will just let you talk okay?" Gabby nodded and agreed with me before walking over to me.

Wrapping her arms around me, she smiled and kissed me softly. "Thank you for this." I smiled and agreed with her. "We need to rest okay? I think what we did earlier was not a good idea." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. "Of course. I understand what you mean." I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that. I then went to kiss her forehead softly and just smiled at her. "Take a minute, breathe and sit with your brother. Remember that me and Antonio are taking care of the boys tonight. Meanwhile, you're resting in bed." Gabby agreed, smiling. Meanwhile, I went to walk away to bring Antonio's bags upstairs.

Gabby's POV:
Once Matt left to go upstairs so that he can bring Antonio's bags upstairs, I went to walk over to my brother who was sitting on the couch. Going to sit with him, I took a breath and sighed. "How worried are you?" Antonio looked at me when I asked her that and just smiled at me. "Not as worried as Matt is." I nodded and smiled. "I mean Gabby, he called me and basically asked me to come over." I smiled and agreed with him when he said that. "Yeah, I guess that makes a good point. He's just worried about me." Antonio then took a breath and sighed. "I understand."

I just looked at him. "You haven't realized that he has been very protective of you the entire pregnancy Gabby?" I agreed with him. "I think it's because of what I did to you guys." I sighed and agreed with him when he told me that, knowing that was a possibility. "Antonio, I hate to agree but...I do. He's nervous and doesn't want that for our girls. I haven't talked to him about this but...I think I need to talk to him about how he really was feeling while we were in the NICU with the boys. We never spoke about it." Antonio seemed shocked when I said that. "Really?"

I nodded and agreed with Antonio when he said that. "Yeah. So, I think we need to talk about that." Antonio smiled and agreed with me when i said that. "Well, you guys have a chance to do it now that I'm here." I smiled and agreed with Antonio when he said that before going to grab his hand. "Antonio, you are such a life saver right now." Antonio agreed with me and smiled as he came to get close to me before wrapping his arms around me. "I'm here for you Gabby. I promise that we are all here for you." I nodded and smiled when he said that.

After talking to Antonio for a while, I smiled when I heard Matt come downstairs. "Okay, so Antonio's bags are in his room...and that means that we can go relax in bed and talk." Turning to look at Matt, I smiled and agreed with him when he said that. "Thanks again for doing this Antonio." Antonio smiled and just agreed with me again. "Gabby, I promise that it's no problem. Now, go relax." I nodded and agreed with him. "If you need anything, give us a call." Antonio agreed. "I"m going to call Hank and tell him that I need to take time. I want to be here."

Matt smiled and agreed with Antonio when he said that. "I appreciate that Antonio. Thanks for doing that." Antonio smiled and agreed with him when he said that. "It's no problem. Now, you guys go lay down in bed and relax." Matt nodded as he looked at me and smiled as he went to grab my hand so that he can lead me upstairs to our room when he was going to take care of me tonight. God, I love my husband (and brother) so much.
