Immortal Melody

Someone once said there is an immortal melody.
A melody that never dies out.
Many have searched for it,
But to no avail.

I also joined the search,
So upon a horse I perch,
I set off on a journey
To find the infamous immortal melody.

Through high and low,
Torture and woe,
Music surrounded me.
But none were the immortal melody.

Then the search ended with a knife,
Which has also ended my life.
And as my energy drained bit by bit,
I finally heard it.
The infamous immortal melody,
Is none other than Mother Nature's heartbeat.

Through high symphonies
And low melodies,
The melody will flow on
Until mother nature... is gone...
