Prologue

A red and white biplane flew in the clouds, a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog is standing on the top wing while a fox with two tails is piloting it. Although you can't ignore the red echidna with a sheriff's hat sitting at the end of the plane, but moving on! They are heading to this place called Little Planet which essentially, is a small planet which Sonic freed from Robotnik. Somehow, Robotnik had gotten it back to Mobius and had taken control of it again! Sonic is heading there trying to free the planet again from Robotnik's grasp... But hey! He isn't alone this time! He has Tails and Knuckles by his side

Sonic: Tails, how close are we getting?

He had to shout it out because of the wind pressure while Tails looked on in ahead

Tails: Closing in, we're almost there

He trusts that Sonic will save the day again, he had been by his side for sometimes now and he knows he will defeat Robotnik again

Sonic: I'm coming close Robotnik, just you wait

He thought before making in through the planet, in one of the zones... Palm Tree Zone. It is a tropical region with sharp mountains, scattered waterfalls, a clean sky with white clouds, and fields covered in green grass. The soil is orange and brown and displays a triangular pattern. Palm trees with pink berries adorn the region, as well as star-shaped green plants that seem to litter the tropical coast. Sonic had seen this zone for some time now, he rubs his nose as they land and he jumps down and turns to his friends

Sonic: I'll be up ahead!

Tails: We'll be following

Knuckles: Safe some Badniks for me!

Sonic gives him a thumbs up before speeding through, he runs past multiple palm trees and signs. Last time he was here, there was a lot of time travel involved, he was happy that he saved it or else... It will lead to a bad future. Sonic jumps and rolls into a ball before landing on a Robot Ant, which poofs and a flower grows in it's place. Huh? Badniks are being powered by Little Planet flower seeds again. Sonic smirks before running again, he runs through a loop and faces three more Robot Ants. He jumps and lands on top of the left Robot Ant causing one to clash into them, it broke both causing more flowers to pop up while Sonic did a handstand on the last one, twirling and turning into a ball which destroys it. He stands up again before putting his hands on the ground and moving his legs... This move is called Peel Out, his legs turns into an infinity sign before he dashed through, running through the land as if it's nothing. He runs on a slope and jumps down when he is facing upside down, he continues to run before meeting some more Badniks, this time, there are five Tamabbohs. He smirks and rubs his nose while his other hand is on his hips

Sonic: Think you can keep up?

The Tamabboh shoots some sort of projectile which Sonic easily jumps over, he rolls into a ball and destroys one, he notices them shooting another projectile so he ran around and jumps, sitting on top of one while putting a hand to his chin

Sonic: What is ol' Robotnik planning now?

He jumps away as a projectile hits the Tamabboh he was sitting, causing it to explode again and turning into a flower. He smiles and rolls into a ball while jumping, he destroys one, then two, then three Tamabbohs. Doing a continuous strike on them, he continues to run with a smile on his face

Sonic: Whatever it is, I'm ready for it!

He falls down a ledge and lands on a red spring, it bounced him back to another platform as he continues to jump over some spikes. He landed on several Badniks along the way, Robot Ants, Robot Butterflies, Robot Mosquitoes, all turning into flowers when he destroyed them. He can somehow see a bit of the giant laboratory somewhere in Palm Tree Zone... Well, of course, it's a giant laboratory, Robotnik was probably in there so he runs towards the direction... Kinda weird that he set it in Palm Tree Zone, nevertheless, it could be a trap... He did worry about if he fixed Metal Sonic, that robot clone of him was real challenge although he defeated him in the end
