Began in March of 2022.
i'll be honest, i didn't think i wanted to write again. serenity has been my pride and joy since i published it last year, and i keep telling myself that anything i put out will not be as good as serenity has been for me, but i finally told myself to shut up. so while one day as i was avoiding life's responsibilities as one does, the idea of this book came to me.
now i'll let you all in on a little secret... it was inspired by one of my favorite books. i won't tell you what it is right off the bat because i'd like to see how many of you have already read the book itself or watched its movie. however, just because it is inspired by that piece of writing, does not mean everything will be the same. how else will i keep you on your toes? that leads me into my next point; this book in no way, shape, or form a true story. every character in here is a figment of my imagination and my creation, based off people i have known or currently know.
here are some important trigger warnings that i beg you to read, just so that way you do not feel forced to read along if any of these make you uncomfortable in any sense. it will contain mature themes such as sex, sexual assault, addiction, usage of drugs and alcohol, mental illness, and extreme depression. again, if any of this makes you uncomfortable, you are not forced to read this book. i love you either way, and support you no matter what.
