Murder of Crows

After my encounter with Mr. Afton, I continued on with the rest of my afternoon. Before I knew it, it was already 5:00. I finished my daily list pretty early on, ate lunch, and was asked to assist the other staff to finish setting up for the birthday party.
As all parties in Freddy Fazbears, there were light gold and black streamers hanging from the ceilings, to represent Freddy's Diner. There were light purple, yellow, red, and all shades in between as balloons for the main four animatronics.

I had just finished setting up the last of the table covers, and was now putting out paper party hats for the guests to choose from,  each decorated with their own respective animatronic. As I finished setting up the party hats, I heard Mr. Afton's familiar voice call out not so far behind me as other employees began to set up a juice fountain.

"Y/N, can you help us finish filling these balloons?" You turned around to find Mr. Afton helping another employee with a few balloons. "The birthday girl's parents are going to arrive soon."
"Of course." You replied, making your towards Mr. Afton and the other employee. You noticed as you were making your way towards the small table and the pair, that Jade— you read off the employee's name tag— seemed pretty tense. Their shoulders were stiff, and they refused to look up. They had dark skin, black hair with blonde streaks assorted into butterfly locs, and wore a dark purple vest on top of their work uniform.

You were almost done with the balloons, when the front doors bell jingled. Most of the people in the room looked up.
"Welcome!" Mr. Emily's voice came from the main stage, you now realized he had been there the entire time. He stepped off the stage, while the employee he was helping out finished cleaning off the animatronics with scurried to finish. "You must be Susie's mothers, yes?"

"Why, yes!" The tall woman with long, straight brown hair shook Mr. Emily's hand. She wore a pretty blue blouse. tucked into her black jeans, leading down to her matching semi-heeled shoes. "Please, call me Charlotte. This is my wife,  Amy."
"Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you, you're Mr. Henry Emily— ah, and... Mr. Afton?" A short, plump blonde woman smiled kindly. She was wearing a light pink blouse with a gold necklace, light blue jeans, and black flats. Mr. Afton, Charlotte, and Amy started discussing the party, while Mr. Emily toured them around the pizzeria.

"...Y../N?" You turned back around to what you assumed was your co-workers' meek voice call out to you. "Yes, Jade?" You replied. They seemed a little surprised you already knew their name, or bothered to read their name tag at all. They quickly motioned towards the forgotten balloon in your hands. Shit! You tore off contact between the yellow balloon and the balloon inflator.
"Thank you..." you breathed out in relief. If it wasn't for Jade, the yellow balloon would've popped, possibly ruining the cheerful moment between the guests, Mr. Emily, and Mr. Afton.

Jade nodded their head slightly to let you know it wasn't a problem. You both continued to fill up the remaining balloons, albeit, a bit awkwardly.

All the preparations were done; guests having arrived long before the birthday girl did. Now, you all were hidden behind tables, under chairs, wherever, with the lights off. You heard muffled talking outside the pizzeria's entrance, which was then followed by some hushed giggling from the guests and your fellow Co-Workers.
"-but auntie I don't think-" You could hear the voice of a young girl enter the pizzeria, only to be cut off by the lights switching on and everyone getting out from their covers, and yelling out, "SURPRISE!" A parade of 'Happy birthday, Susie!' and party kazoos being blown by the younger kids rang out throughout the pizzeria.

The small, blue eyed, blonde haired girl seemed to be indecisive whether to smile, gasp, or cry, so she did all. It was safe to say the party was successful.
