"Don't be mad at me anymore, okay?" Juan takes my face in his hands. It's the next morning after our weird 'fight' on our date last night, and it's time for him to leave for his show. Again. "I'm sorry."

"Okay."

We ate in pretty much complete silence last night after our food arrived, and really didn't speak all that much before bed either. He fell asleep on the couch, and I didn't bother waking him up as I took Santos up to bed. Putting Santos to bed alone was routine for me, so it didn't bother me much that Juan wasn't with me when I did it. That much.

"I love you." he says, kissing my temple gently, pulling me into a hug.

I give him a light squeeze, rubbing my hand over his back. "Love you too." he kisses me when we pull apart, and I don't fight it, letting his lips melt into mine. "Have a good show."

"Thank you." he picks Santos up from bassinet that's next to us. "Bye, campeón." he gives him a few kisses on the cheek, and I can't help but laugh at the face Santi makes, Juan's beard probably ticking him. He lets Santos run his fingers over his beard for a few moments, smiling, before he looks back to me. "I should go." I nod, and with one last kiss to Santos and I, he leaves.

"Would you guys want to come to a show with Juan and I in Chicago?" I ask my brothers as we take a seat at my dining table.

It's been a few weeks since Juan brought up going to Chicago with him, and I've decided I'd like to go. Both because I'm sure it would make Juan happy that I'll be attending one of his shows, and also because I want to go visit my moms grave. He's not here right now, he's at a show in New York, his biggest of the entire US tour. This is his second night at Maddison Square Garden, both of his shows sold out. I'm still not happy with how often he has to be gone, but I'm so incredibly proud and happy for him right now.

Im having my family over for dinner tonight, and figured it'd be the perfect night to ask my brothers about coming to Chicago with Juan and I.

"When?" asks Oscar.

"It's this weekend."

Joel bounces Santos in his lap as he nods. "I'd wanna go." he looks at Oscar and Mark, waiting for their answer.

"Yeah, I can go." Mark nods too.

I turn my attention to Oscar. "Yeah. Sure." he nods nonchalantly.

"Great." I perk up, seeing that all of my brothers are on board about going back to Chicago for the weekend. Eduardo clears his throat awkwardly at the end of the table, and I hadn't even thought about the possibility of him wanting to come along too. "Would you—" I start, and his eyes shift over to Angelica's.

"No." he shakes his head quickly. "No, you guys go on ahead."

Angelica puts a hand over his. "I wouldn't mind if you wanted to go, Love." she gives him a small nod followed by a reassuring smile.

"I don't think your mom would've wanted me there." he shakes his head quickly.

Oscar shakes his head. "She wouldn't have minded."

"You guys go." he smiles sadly.

We all look around the table awkwardly before I nod.  "Well there's always a spot on the jet for you if you change your mind." I give him a small smile.
