Erick stood in front of Clark and Lois who were still trying to process what he had just told them, it had been a while since they came back from Metropolis; a part of were expecting for Erick to be really hurt due to his fight against the Black Flash but to their surprise he was standing in front of them. Without a single scratch on him..
Lois:So run through me one more time..you fought this creepy looking speedster, you basically became a God of speed; you then whooped this guy's ass and to finish it all off you..erased him from existence itself
"Well..I wouldn't say erased from existence, I just brought him to the end of time and hurled him into the void where life had no meaning so neither did he"
Lois just turns to her husband, Clark and tells him
Lois:Alright Smallville im heading upstairs all of this mumbo jumbo is hurting my head, good luck
She kisses him on the cheek and excuses herself as she walks upstairs leaving Clark and Erick by themselves
"You know..she took that a whole lot better than I thought she would"
Clark chuckles a bit and replies back
Clark:Well when you've seen as much as Lois things like this tend to just become apart of her everyday life, we've been through some crazy things together and I can see how this would be different
"Right because before it was aliens and different dimensions but now it's speedsters and different universes with versions of yourself living completely weird lives"
Clark:Pretty much yeah..oh right..
Clark reaches into his pocket and holds out the extrapolator which was now fixed as Erick smiles a bit
Clark:I promised you I'd personally give this back to you and im a man of my word..
He hands Erick the small device as he looks at it and then back at Clark with a grateful smile
"Thank you..this means alot to me"
But his smile slowly faded away as Erick now looked a bit saddened by this news which didn't go unnoticed by Clark
Clark:Hey are you okay? I thought you'd be more happier
"I am--no..I just--*sighs* it's not that I don't appreciate this, it's just that..some part me doesn't want to leave this place and the other part of me knows that I have to keep my promise.."
Erick sets down the extrapolator and sits down on the side of the stairs as he runs his hand through his hair and looks down at his watch
