"Pythagorean identity, checked. Cos, checked, Sin, checked, double-angle formula, checked. Good! Perfect!" Jimin patted herself a good luck as she happily walked in the hallway

She stops when her eyes caught on a familiar figure. Jimin hesitated if she should say something. The class will start any minutes now, and she's quite nervous.

Minjeong was walking in the direction of where she's standing, her gaze landed on Jimin and they made eye contact

'I'm not supposed to talk to her at school,'

Minjeong walked past her and she took a deep breath before whispering, "Thank you."

"Good luck,"

Jimin didn't know if she's just imagining things or Minjeong really did say that, nevertheless, it made her happy and she feels energized by that little cheer Minjeong said.

Jimin looked back only to see Minjeong getting mobbed by students. She smiled to herself, a pink tint of blush slowly formed in her cheeks.

CLASS F ROOM

"Pass the papers!"

"You may start now!"

There were continuous sounds of flipping pages all around the corners of the whole class and after a few seconds it filled with a lot of whining by the students.

"If you studied I'm sure you will pass this test, good luck, children!" Their headroom teacher muttered in pure trust

Only Jimin is the happy student inside the class. She was smiling to herself widely and it seems like her lips will be torn off any minute from now.

'The question is exactly the same as the one Minjeong created. This one! This one! And this one too!'

Jimin internally squealed. She began to write her answers, the beam in her face gradually turns brighter and brighter every questions.

And not even an hour later she have finished the first subject. Jimin is confident.

'At this point, there's no doubt I'm finally going to be at the Top 100,'

Just the thought of it excites her and she couldn't wait any longer.

3 DAYS LATER

"WE ARE DONE!" yelled Ningning, her voice is extremely loud but it hypes everyone around them anyways

"Let's go have some fun!" Aeri waved her bag around

"Let's go!" said Jimin

"We are coming with you!"

Kai's voice echoed throughout the quad as he ran towards the three girls, behind him are Yuna and Ryujin who are struggling to keep up with his speed

"Jimin, sorry. I won't let you go!" Kai wrapped his arms around Jimin's shoulders and dragged her with them. Too afraid that once he let go she'll suddenly disappear again.

"Let me go, Kai!" Jimin chuckled as she try to unwrap his arms around her

"I haven't hung out with you lately, so I won't let you go today." Kai rested his head on Jimin's cheeks as they walked off
