Ignore the cheesy title LMAO. I came up with this idea during class and I wanna see this in action.

Mirabel's Pov

Tía Pepa and Tío Felix were taking us out for a picnic! I'm terribly excited. I love my aunt and uncle, although they both have their own ins and outs. Tía Pepa can control the weather, meaning when she's angry, she could be pretty scary. Especially now that she's pregnant. As for Tío Felix, he's so kind and understanding. He was one of the only people that comforted me when I didn't get my gift.

What I didn't like is how they must also have la princesa, perfecta, Isabela to come along. Shes my older sister, but everyone loves her so much and all she does is make flowers grow and look pretty. I'm so jealous that she gets to have a great gift while everyone forgets about me.. at least I have Lucia here with me, but she's always so busy around town.

Luckily, prima Dolores and Camilo are tagging along also. I mostly stay by Camilo because he's my best friend. Although he's the prankster, Camilo's always been here for me, especially when I needed it most.

"When we get to the park, don't run off, okay?", Tío Felix told us as we went. "We want you to have fun, but not too much fun, okay? I promise your mamá you wouldn't get hurt."

"Yes, Tío Felix. We'll be careful.", Isabela assured him. I couldn't help but to scoff and roll my eyes when she spoke.

"And don't start causing problems. We came to relax and to have a good time.", Tía Pepa added.

"Yes, mamá.", Dolores replied. Camilo had turned into her and started mimicking her playfully. Dolores had bonked him on the nose, huffing as she crossed her arms as Camilo turned back to normal and nudging her arm. I couldn't help but to laugh quietly as I watched them fuddle around with each other.

Once we made it, Tía Pepa had organized the blanket on the soft grass as Isabela started summoning a garden of flowers. I couldn't help but to watch, a few kids starting to come and praise her as if she were an Angel.

"Mirabel? Would you mind getting the basket for us, por favor?", Tía Pepa suddenly asked. I snapped out of my thoughts and notice her standing next to me.

"Sí, Tía", I replied. I went to the table and reached for the basket, however I couldn't reach it, for I was too short.

"Aye, Mirabel.", Isabela grumbled as she went towards me and tried to get the basket, but I shoved her away.

"I don't need your help, Isabela! You're already popping flowers out of your head, you don't need to do everything for me either!", I snapped.

"Oh really? You don't have to be so snobby just because you don't have a gift!", my sister snapped back.

"I'M the one being snobby?", I repeated in disbelief. "ME?! Why you little-."

"Isabela, Mirabel! Enough!!", Tía Pepa said as she went over to us.

"But Isabela started it!", I snapped back.

"It doesn't matter, now you two go and play with your cousins!", she replied.

I was so fed up as I crossed my arms in annoyance. I could tell Isabela was annoyed as well, seeing how she glared at me for a second before she flipped her hair in my and walked off to join Tío Felix, Dolores and Camilo. I knew better to not upset Tía, as I wouldn't want her to get a cloud, especially since she's pregnant. I sighed as I went towards the grassy meadow and sat under a tree. I hid myself behind the tree because I didn't wanted to be seen sitting alone.. not that the other kids would care anyways.
