I could say that I knew what I was doing when I tackled Azariah like an NFL linebacker during the Super Bowl, but I didn't. I would be a liar. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, but I did accomplish catching her off guard. Which is kind of weird since catching Azariah off guard is like watching a polar bear having a calming walk on the beach in the summer. Just weird.

I knew she wouldn't shoot at Niovi, her hand that held the gun was shaking so much that it wouldn't have even made its mark. Though I'm not sure Azariah noticed how scared she actually was. Niovi was her sister and despite her trying her hardest, their bond will never break. Not like that.

I'd only just got there with a heavy backpack strapped in my back. I was climbing onto the roof they were on and no one seemed to notice. The rain was relentless and I was starting to get cold, but when I saw Azariah hold up the firearm at Niovi my insides felt like they were burning.

Then I saw Azariah's face. Hard yet on the verge of tears.

I saw those large pipes that could count as slides at a water park next to Azariah and I took my chance.

Her body was rock solid when I collided into her and I'm sure I didn't feel like a pillow either. Her loud grunt proving that.

The gun that she was holding dropped out of her hands before we both fell into darkness, sliding down the hollow rod of metal. Our names were being called out in horror as we tumbled down.
