You were curled up, resting on Freddy's stage. You were still wrapped in the blanket he gave you. It was a raggedy old thing, a bit scratchy and worn. But its not like you could complain. You were surprised he had something like that at all.

You were trying to rest, maybe even fall asleep. Your eyes were closed as you laid there. Freddy hadn't said much more since you'd gotten in there. You tried not to worry too badly about him. The dread of having to fix him at some point before the next day so no one was suspicious wasn't something you needed.

Freddy was sitting on the stage beside where you were laying. You could hear the soft mechanical whir in his chest of his inner mechanisms. That along with the subtle click, or spark from the live wires around you.

You softly listened to the subtle sound of your own breathing. The world was slowly, but surely rearranging itself back in order. There was a knock on the door. Freddy got up and hobbled to the door. There was soft murmuring of a deep feminine voice, followed by Freddy's glitched speech.

The door closed and Freddy went back to you. He crouched beside you.

“This was brought for you.” He said, he gently placed an ice pack against the bump on your head. You tensed up at first, only relaxing a bit. You positioned so it could rest on your head while you laid there. Freddy resumed his spot on the stage beside you.

You thought about a little plan of what you were even going to do. Maybe fix up Freddy, then try to get out of there...

You decided that it was best for you to rest right now. You closed your eyes again, trying to hopefully relax. The cold ice pack on your head was a bit uncomfortable, making it hard to really settle down.

You ended up falling in and out of sleep multiple times. It wasn't comfortable or relaxing at all. It was just exhausting trying to go into a deep enough sleep.

You turned to Freddy for comfort. After all, it was pretty clear that he was your savior. The one that brought you into the parts and service. But the one who helped you into the breaker room...

The delicate hands...

It must've been Ballora, but wasn't she powered off..? But you heard her earlier talking to Freddy...

After a while of thinking and laying, you thought that enough time has been wasted.

“Would you excuse me for a second Freddy?” You asked as you sat up.

He looked up at you. He gave a hesitant nod. You got up and left the blanket and the ice pack on his stage.

You went into the main control module, then back into the elevator. You were going to head to the bathroom, collect yourself and grab your toolbox. Leaning against the wall behind you again as you waited to get back to the ground level.

Upon arriving, you exited the elevator and headed through the party rooms. You went into the bathroom and stood in front of one of the mirrors. You looked at yourself, thinking. What happened today? Why did it all happen today? How could you explain any of this to your manager? Or anyone for that matter?

You sighed as you finally calmed yourself and headed back out and went to the room you'd last left your toolbox. Grabbed it, and headed back for the elevator. You went back in and set the elevator to descend back down.

You went into the the control module and headed back into Ballora Gallery and to the breaker room. You opened the door, this time not really caring how it closed.

“Freddy, let's get you fixed up.” You said as you approached him. He looked up at you. He seemed to hesitate before backing up so you could get to him.

You got down in front of him, sitting on the floor. Opened up your toolbox and started sorting things to fix him. You grabbed the things you needed and turned to him. “Are you ready?” You asked, making sure he was at least comfortable with you working on him.

He nodded. He then leaned in towards you so you could get to his face. You hesitantly reached up to him.

Soon enough you relaxed and comfortably worked on him. He didn't seem to care, probably wanting to not be in that disfigured state he was in.

You fixed up the hinges to each faceplate, then slowly moved it back into place. Fixed up his eye lid, and had him move it to make sure it wasn't too messed up. Eventually finally pulling back from him, his face entirely back to normal.

“Do you want me to fix up your leg?” You asked, remembering his little hobble in his step. Freddy moved back, stretching his legs out for you. You got in front of him, moving his kneecap out of the way and starting to work on it. You moved a few things and repositioned and tightened the joint.

“Stand up and see if its better.” You said. Freddy heaved himself to his feet. The joint seemed to be back in order. You smiled as you wiped your now oil stained hands.

He sat back down and looked at you, shifting his faceplates. “Thanks (Y/N).” He said. You smiled in slight surprise. “You're very welcome Freddy.” You said. The two of you looked at each other with smiles. You felt more comfortable around him.

Maybe he just needed someone to trust...

“Its been a long time (Y/N), maybe you should get going now.” Freddy mentioned. You just then realized that. “O-Oh yeah! I'll see you tomorrow Freddy.” You said as you got up.

You left the breaker room. You walked through Ballora's room. You stopped.

“B-Ballora?” You called into the room. “Thank you for your help today.” You said. You could see a pair of pink eyes in the darkness meet eye contact with you. She seemed to nod before disappearing, probably powering down finally.

You smiled before resuming your journey out of the building. You reentered the control room and headed back to the elevator.

You eventually got back home. It was 7:45, a whole lot later than you would've wanted to get back home. You immediately went for the bed, going right into your pajamas and then into the bed.

You curled up to fall asleep, mind occupied about this and that, what happened today and what might happen tomorrow.

But you felt...closer to Freddy, after all, he was a life saver.

Even if it was only once.
