Upon waking in the next few hours, there was confusion, but then realization of course. You smiled to yourself a little, cuddling into Freddy more. You moved a hand to his waist area, feeling the heat coming from his surface. Before you knew it, you'd started tracing shapes into his solid form. You glanced up, wondering why he was so silent. He was leaned against the wall behind him, in sleep mode, usually to conserve his energy for later. You settled back into him as you felt his smooth surface.

His typical lack of usage meant less stains and smudges were on him. However there was a bit of dust though. 

You felt. . .weird too, a warmth in your chest that pushed you to snuggle him more. You had a leg over one of his before you'd realized. You closed your eyes back, sighing a little as you rested there. Still mentally pondering on that feeling. He was your friend at this point, so this affection wasn't unwelcome. But why did it make you feel this way? Your eyes snapped back open as a thought crossed your mind. 

   
No, no, that doesn't make sense. . .he's a robot. 

  
Then why did your heart swell with such a feeling familiar to that of romance? Well, he was pretty sentient, so maybe that was confusing you. Yeah that had to be it right? 

  
You sighed and pushed your thoughts back as you went back to cuddling the bear. Before much longer though, he shifted a little a soft murmur coming from his speaker. You looked up, met with faintly glowing eyes slowly blinking at you. "Are you up big guy?" You asked softly. He nodded tiredly. You started to realized his sleepy state was actually kind of adorable. He never was at such a state of peace usually. It was nice. 
You noticed his finger start gently tapping the floor, as if he was thinking. "It's 4:30" Was all he said before relaxing back into the wall. You found yourself smiling softly, he cared about you. Enough to mention something like that. Part of you even wondered if he was slightly worried for you, but either way it was sweet to you. 

"So..." You softly muttered. "I'm guessing we've grown closer as of recent." You mentioned. You heard what sounded like a breath come from his speaker as he shifted slightly. 

"It does seem that way hm?" He said, in his usual hard to read demeanor. "It is surprising (Y/N)? That I've opened up to you?" He said. It didn't take long for you to pick up on his rhetorical tone, as he seemed to be musing slightly. He was comfortable enough with you to humor you. 

You smiled softly. "A little." You said, earning a soft snicker from the bear. He affectionately gave a squeeze to your shoulder as well. 

  
No, yeah, this feeling was unmistakable. You were falling for him. 

    
Your mind wandered over a few other things. Working with him had definitely been helping him, next week he was planned to perform even. You had a few plans in the back of your mind incase anything went wrong, to help him regain his reputation. 

He was doing quite well himself too, he'd been cooperative and so forth. Baby even congratulated you about it at one point. She really seemed to care for her friends, giving you small tips every now and again for when you had to work with them. 

A few more staff seemed to be more trusting of Freddy as of recent as well. Which was good of course. You also had more free time in seeing him since you weren't quite as busy all the  time anymore. 

You decided you may as well wait 'til your shift here with Freddy. You snuggled back into him, ready to head on back to sleep so you'd be ready by the time your shift started. You felt his grip tighten again, making you smile a little. 

Everything was just peachy. And you had someone by your side.
