As chase keeps waiting in anticipation for skye response
A huge smile formed on skye face
"Yes chase I'd love to go out with you," skye said with a huge smile on her face and her tail was wagging faster than ever
"Ok great m-meet you at a restaurant in the middle of town ok, in about an hour at like 4 pm," he yipped trying to control his excitement
"Sure I'll meet you there," skye said "Ok then well I'm going see you there," the German shepherd said taking off in excitement to prepare for his date
Skye just smiled and giggled at him seeing how exciting chase was and how happy she was to finally go on a date with him
"Skye are you there" ryder called over her pup tag "go head ryder" she responded "it's about your wings I'll need you over here," the boy said with a stressed tone
"On my way," she said making her way to him "ok I'm here so what is the problem ryder"
Ryder looks at her while holding her pup pack "you see skye we have a problem here" he said scratching his head
"What is it" she questioned while looking at the pup pack "the issue is that you damaged some sensitive parts that are not easy to replace," ryder said while showing her the damaged area "it was not me an eagle did ,so how do we fix it" rolling her eyes at him
"Well we can't ,I will have to find where to get the parts and then figure out how to get them here," ryder said as he puts the wings back on the table
"So how long will it take," she asked "don't know probably a couple of weeks or more," he said
"What!? That too long ryder" the boy just stared at her with an eyebrow raised
"Well I'm not the one who broke it trying to use it for a game you know your pup pack are for helping or for missions," he said to her in a stern voice
"But what if there is a mission where I'm needed," ryder just shook his head
"Sorry skye you will have to sit out on missions for a while, ok," the boy said to her while petting her head
"But this puppy gotta fly you know," she said in a sad tone "well this puppy is now going to walk for a while ok," he said trying to cheer her up while petting her
As she is leaving she heard ryder say
"It's not like we have a spare set anyway" his voice echoed down the hall
With this skye gets an idea
"Wait spare set? *gasp*the air patroller" with this idea she quickly runs to the air patrol to get her air patrol pup pack on
"Ok this seems right ryder won't be mad right? and I still can go on missions," she said to herself putting on the pup pack
After putting it on she noticed something is a bit off
"Hmm what is that," the cockapoo questioned herself as she look at her wings and notice the engine seems to be more bright the before and more a mix of blue and pink in it
But before she can examine any further she looks at the clock in the air patroller and it says 4:20 pm
"Oh no, I'm late!!" She screamed at here herself and being to run but realize she needs to get there faster
"Oh I know only to use these for missions but screw it this date is more important," she said to herself and beings to take off
As she is flying her engine beings to release pink and blue sparks from the engine and when she notices this her pup pack beings to malfunction and beings to lose control
"Ahh no I won't let this stop me," she said trying to take control back of her pup pack but it's useless
She beings to spin so fast that she slowly passes out and is sent flying towards the ground and the last thing she saw was a bright purple light
An hour later
"Ow my head," skye said as she gets back on all fours and see she landed somewhere near the lookout woods and stretches then remember her date with chase
"Oh no I hope he won't be upset with me," she said trying to take off again but can't
"What? Oh no ryder is surely going to ground me for this" as she looks at her air patrol pup pack that is now been damaged too
"Doesn't matter I have to get going anyway" skye said as she takes off her air patrol pup pack and runs to the lookout however a couple of things seem off but she does not pay too much attention and continues onward
After making it back to the look she notice chase was there playing with his pup toys
"Oh, there he is, chase!" She yelled at him getting the pups attention
The pup stops playing and looks at skye
"Chase look I'm sorry about being late for our date and I know we were supposed to meet there but since we're both here why don't we get going together there," skye said happily and waging her tail after than ever
The pup looks at her with confusion
"Who are you?"
