CHAPTER 14: Dares

"Hoy Clyde! 'Yong KAIBIGAN mo tumatawag." Emphasizing the word KAIBIGAN

I'm reading a book of Colleen Hoover nang biglang sumulpot si Bench. I'm staying on their guestroom for 2 days now. The room is covered with mint green, it has a queen size bed, a devon zelda vanity table, having its own bathroom, and a closet where you can put your clothes in.

The phone is still ringing so I assume that he haven't yet answered it. Loka loka talaga.

"The who na kaibigan? I have many, but of course just some are true." Just stating fact; Not all your friends are your friend when your not around. Some are back stabbing, some spread rumors, some are just using you for their own gain. However, I still treat them as my friend. Iniisip ko nalang na masaya ako kasi may naitutulong ako sa kanila. Gano'n naman talaga eh, upon knowing a friend ang dapat mong unang isipin ay kung ano ang maitutulong mo sa kanila, hindi ang 'kung ano ang maitutulong nila sayo'

Lumapit siya sa bed kung saan ako nakaupo at nakasandal sa head board.

"Macoy" ang aga-aga tumatawag. Haha. And guess what guys, kaya mukhang badtrip 'tong si Bench kasi mga gantong oras, some of his kalandian are active.

"Hey! Goodmorning" i removed my eyeglasses

"Good morning. Are you doing something? Nakaka-istorbo ba ako?"

"Oh, none really. Actually hindi ako ang naistorbo hahaha. Yong may ari ng phone naistorbo mo sa mga kalandian niya haha"

"Really! Please tell Bench, i'm sorry"

"Nah, it's okay"

"I called cause I have nothin' to do"

Napatitig ako sa kanya

"Really? That's new to hear from you, knowing that you're always busy"

"Oh, I haven't mentioned to you that Matt tested positive"  Hindi mo nabanggit kasi wala naman tayong communication. HAHAHA

"Talaga!? So how is he? Are you okay? So you're in a quarantine?"

"He's fine naman and according to him, he's asymtomatic naman. I'm okay, I'm negative in the test pero ofcourse they adviced me to quarantine for atleast 5 days"

"I'm glad to hear that. So, what you want us to do? Ako, I'm reading a book din nga to divert the boredom eh. Gusto mo maglaro nalang us? Any laro you wanna play? Like, truth and dare, most likely, 20 questions, guess the tune, coz I think those are the games we are capable to play virtually" Bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa si Benjie na nakabusangot dala dala ang ipad niya. Tumabi siya sakin sa bed.

"Hi Bench" he waved at Bench and smiling ear to ear. Is he making suyo? Haha. Maybe he felt guilt about what I had said.

"Hi kuya, magpapalit lang kami ni Clyde nang phone. Wait, wait ket kami na ang tumawag. Labyo" napalingon ako sa kanya nang nag 'labyo' siya.

"HAHAHA, sige sige" he ended the call.

"Ano 'yon ha" Kiniliti ko si bench "may pa 'labyo, labyo' ka pang nalalaman"

"Clyde tama na, na-HAHAHAHAH-kikiliti HAHAHAH ako!" Inagaw niya ang phone sakin at iniwan ang ipad sa bed

"Ito na ang ipad oh, tawagan mo na, naghihintay na 'yon"

"Mukha mo" tumakbo na siya papuntang pintuan para makaalis

*calling...*

"I agrees with you're idea about the game. But the question is, what game?" Bungad niya ng sinagot n'ya na ang tawag.
