"WHAT?! Slade is here?"
"ARE YOU DEAF OR SOMETHING?!"
"Woah! Calm down!"
"NO! I WILL NOT 'CALM DOWN' YOU IDIOT. A PERVERTED PSYCHOPATHIC MURDERER IS IN THE TOWER AND HE'S COMING FOR US!" Raven said as she started to hyperventilate.
"Everything will be ok. Let's just go get the others and-"
"IT WILL NOT BE OK! HE WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO KILL YOU AND ASSAULT ME! IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AND IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN SOON!"
"I know how bad this is and how scared you are, but you have to stop yelling. You're making your breathing worse."
"Wait. I have an idea. I know how to end this," Raven realized.
"How?"
"Do you love me?"
"Of course I love you Raven. You know that."
"If I needed you to do something hard would you do it for me?"
"I would do anything for you."
"I need you to kill me."
"WHAT?! KILL YOU?!"
"I know it sounds crazy, but it will get all of this to go away. Once he knows I'm gone, he will know that he can't hurt me anymore. And he will leave."
"Raven I am not going to kill you."
"Well do you have a better idea?"
"Yes! We will search for him together! Let's get the others and figure out how to find him and take him down! Just give it a try. I know it sounds hopeless, but if we beat Trigon, then we can beat Slade. I know we can."
"Oh Ravveeennnnn... I'm here for you!" A creepy voice whispered in a singsongy tone.
"NO!" Raven yelled.
"What? What happened?" Beastboy asked.
"Did you not hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Slade! He just whispered to me! He has to be close by."
"Wait. Raven. Can't you sense him? And his location?"
"You're right! I can!"
Raven focused for a moment.
"That's impossible," she whispered.
"What is?"
"I can't sense him at all. Anywhere. He must have some sort of cloaking spell."
"Or... maybe... he's not in the tower?"
"Are you calling me crazy?"
"What?! No! Of course not. I was just saying that-"
"I know what I heard and saw. He's here."
"I'm coming for youuuuu."
"There it was again! His voice! You had to hear it this time!"
"Raven I'm sorry... I didn't hear anything. Come on. Let's go get the team. They need to know," he told her as he grabbed her hand.
