Thank you for choosing to read 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐬'- a Thomas Shelby fan fiction. Before we being, there are some things we need to clarify.

1. This is a spin-off of my fanfiction 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐭 and 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. After hearing a lot of you talk about wanting to read a Thomas/OC story, here we are! I listened, I took inspiration, and I'm giving y'all what you want! 

2. This book is also going to be published in Archive of Our Own. I have now moved to publish most of my fanfiction there, just to branch out a bit. I was going to stay on the platform exclusively, but I love Wattpad. Even though there are some things I don't like about the platform, it is where I first started publishing, so it's very close to my heart. Because of that, I will publish the completed book here.

3. This is kind of and not really the Thomas Shelby you know. Although we have gotten to know Tommy a lot during Peaky Blinders, there is still a lot to learn about him. Now, I'm not saying that this is going to be an OOC take on him (I hate that), but I am going to try and show a new side of him. Like my take or not, if you have your critiques, please give them in a kind and productive manner.

4. There are sexy scenes in this for me, that's just a must. If you don't like that, skip it. I'll make sure to include warnings at the beginning of chapters, but I might forget.

5. This is the third story in my 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐲𝐩𝐬𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 series, so to fully enjoy it, you should read those first. However, if you choose not to, that's fine. Perhaps seeing what Alfie/Griselda/Luca's story looks like at the end, you'll want to read the others. I will say, it's heavily inspired by them, so don't be shocked if there are spoilers. 

6. This is an AU. There is nothing wrong with cannon-compliant works, but that's just not my style anymore. This is inspired by the fourth season of Peaky Blinders, but it also plays with certain timeline events. If you haven't seen the latest seasons, SPOILER ALERT. You will notice that I play around and drop easter eggs of the original plot and things that happen in the universe (that won't happen in my books). 

7. I am not Romani. I am not Jewish. I am not British. I am not Russian. I apologize in advance if certain words or customs are incorrect. I try to do my research but sometimes things slip through the cracks. 

8. This is LOOSELY inspired by the massacre of the Romanov family and the legend of the surviving Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov.
