After we finish eating the almost burnt pasta I made I ask her when she wants me to take her home.
"Hm I don't know. But I don't wanna go home."
"Phebes you're gonna have to home eventually"
Her eyes light up.
"What if we have a sleepover?!"
"That would be fine with me. Make sure you call your dad to let him know."
She excuses herself to go into the other room to call her dad.
"He said yes! Although he thinks you're a girl."
I chuckle "That's fine. Now where do you want to sleep?"
"Can I sleep in your bed with you?"
She looks at me with her puppy dog eyes.
"I guess." I say jokingly rolling my eyes. I knew I had a faint blush creeping up over my neck.
"Why are you so red?" She looks worried
"I um- am uh just hot! Yeah it's just a little hot in here."
"Oh well I'm actually feeling a little cold."
I've got an idea.
"Wait right here. I'll be right back."
I run into my room ignoring the small picture of her on my nightstand. I grab my smallest hoodie and run back out.
"Here you go sunshine."
She thanks me before putting it on. It's still huge even though it's my smallest one.
"I love it!" She squeals
"You can keep it. It's my smallest one. It doesn't even fit me anymore." It does fit me, but I'm not gonna tell her that.
"Really?! Thank you so much!" She runs and hugs me.
I slowly wrap my arms around her
she's seems cold
hugs are my favorite fucking thing now
We stay like that for a few minutes and I look at the time.
"It's about 8 so what do you want to do until we go to sleep?"
"Can we just go to sleep now? I'm tired"
"Yeah of course."
We walk into my room and I run over to my bedside table and turn the picture of her over that's sitting next to the picture frame of my parents.
I can tell she notices but she doesn't say anything.
We both lay in the bed.
She whispers "I know this is a lot to ask for but can we cuddle?"
"Of course sunshine."
She smiles and we go to sleep cuddling.
cuddling?
