Gwi-nam Pov
For so many hours of having no hope Mr. Lee came out of the lab taking off his gloves
"She's fine" He said
I jump out of my seat in relief and smiled
"Really?!" I asked in relief
"For now" He continued with a serious tone
That made me look at him in confusion
"What do you mean?" I asked
"I took some of her blood and examine it" He took a deep breath
"And?" Su hyeok asked carrying Jeong-Hoon sleeping in his arms
"We may found the cure" Mr. Lee said taking his glasses off
"Really?!" Eun-ji jump in excitement
"You mean we can live like before again?!!" She jump around
"No, but with her blood we can look like human and control our hunger and we can love for years without eating human flesh" Mr. Lee said walking into his room and we all followed
"Can I see her?" I asked him
"Not face to face she's under quarantine" Mr. Lee sat in his desk
"Why?!" I asked in confusion
"A cure like her is deadly to us, but if I study about her blood then what I said earlier will be true" He said formally
He then pointed at a transparent window where Y/n is inside a room laying down on a bed
I slowly walk towards the window and put my hand against it
I was in a panic and worried mode I don't know what to do
My brain is dead but it's going insane, I can't control myself my blood boiled in anger, I'm angry because of what is happening to Y/n
"Gwi-nam, you need to calm down" Mr. Lee tried to approach me but I push him away
I ran out of the room and the building killing every zombie I encountered, snapping their necks
"I'm here!" I yelled
"She had a chance of a normal life!!" I yelled at those bloody sucking monsters
When I felt satisfied I broke down in tears I fell like my whole world has collapse the moment Y/n became one of those monsters
She deserves a normal life her and my son
I then felt a hand on my shoulder I slowly look up to see Eun-ji
"Are you okay?" She sat next to me
I just sobbed
"Don't worry, She'll be fine" She said putting her arms around my shoulder pulling me into a hug
I felt uncomfortable about it but I shrugged it off
"Y/n will be okay, so don't worry too much" She said in a soft tone
This makes me confused and suspicious but I didn't mind it as she was my friend
