A chuckle came from Hongjoong as soon as he felt a distance grow between the two of you after your kiss, watching how you dropped your hands into your lap and began to play nervously with your fingers.
"That was better than I ever imagined a kiss would be," you suddenly whispered.
Hongjoong quickly caught onto what you said, with his eyebrows knitting together. "Imagined? Have you never had a kiss?"
"I haven't," you responded shyly, "I should have told you sooner, but something in my head just told me that I should kiss you in that moment."
"I'm glad you listened," he chuckled, moving his hands into your lap to hold onto your hands, "I've been wanting to do that too."
"Have you really?"
His head nodded in reply to you, "I wasn't sure whether you were ready for me to kiss you, I wanted to wait until it felt special."
"And did this kiss feel special for you?" You asked, relieved when his head continued to nod back at you, "it was special for me too."
"A first kiss is always special, that's something that I've learnt."
"That's exactly why I wanted you as my first kiss."
