Twenty-one

No one's p.o.v

It was finally time to start the process. Areum Su-hyeok and On-jo returned to the laboratory, even tho Areum somehow did not wanted to come. She wanted to hold Na-yeon a little longer, have another soft conversation with her, watch her sleeping in her arms again, and kiss her for the one last time

The doctor approached them as he smiled at the three "Good that you guys are back, we have prepared the stuff already, you should go inside the room and lay down on the bed alright" Areum slightly smiled at the doctor and nodded. The doctor gave her a warm smile as he patted her head "You're very brave"

The doctor walked away, and Areum turned to the two as she showed them a soft smile "Guess it's time to go.." She said in a soft tone, and On-jo embraced her in a tight hug as she cried on Areum's shoulder.

"I'll make sure nothing happens to you, I promise" Areum smiled at On-jo's words before they pulled away. Areum gave a hug to Su-hyeok as well, before she walked inside the room with a bed, a heart rate machine next to it as well as some other machines

She sat down on the bed and looked down at her feet, she was still feeling both happy and sad. Happy because Na-yeon, Nam-ra, Cheong-san and more of Hambies would be fine, and sad because she won't be able to be with Na-yeon anymore

On the other side, the doctor told the two that they should go back to the camp and they nodded and went back to the camp, feeling really down. The others were waiting for them there

Mi-jin saw them coming and walked up them "Where's Areum??" Su-hyeok sighed "Mhm they just started the process" Mi-jin scoffed annoyed "Yah that's bitch... Is there no way we can do anything?" On-jo shook her head "Na-yeon and Nam-ra tried to convince her so much that she don't have to do it, but she didn't listened.."

"Yeah but like are those cells so important in her body? The doctors just want that blood right? Does that mean her body won't work with anyone else's blood in it?" that's when it hits Su-hyeok

He held onto Mi-jin's shoulder and smiled "For the first time you said something smart" Mi-jin looked at him confused "Really? So I can get in a college now?"

Su-hyeok grabbed On-jo's hand and dragged her back to the laboratory with him again. The doctor was inside the room adjusting the needle in Areum's arm

He came back out and was confused to see the two "Ah? What are you guys doing here?" Su-hyeok stepped up, he had his fingers crossed about the thought he just got

"Doctor, are those cells too important in her blood? Beside being the cure?" The doctor thought for a second "Not really, they are just to stop any virus to stop spreading in her body" A huge grin appeared on Su-hyeok's face and he got his hopes high

"So can't we find someone with the same blood group as her, who's willing to donate blood?"  The doctor nodded his head while he was writing something "But the problem is, Her blood type is O positive, and its hard to find much people with O blood type here in Hyosan, mostly people here are either A or B" The two we're also A "We will find someone, just give us sometime"

"Okay, but make sure whoever is willing to give out blood does not have or had any history of blood problems or any other health problem" The two nodded, and headed back to the camp, filled with happiness. They were determined to find someone with the same blood type as Areum, because there was no way they could let anything happen to her despite having a chance to save her

The two reached the camp, and they quickly went up to their friends who were waiting for them in one of the camps "Guys, what's your blood types?"  they looked at them confused "I'm B, but why?" Mi-jin said "We gotta find someone with the blood type O, who had no history of any health problems, the doctor said we can save Areum if someone with the same blood type is willing to give out blood for her" On-jo explained

"I'm AB" Su-hyeok let out an annoyed sigh and punch Dae-su's arm "You can have such a rare blood type, but not an O?" Dae-su looked at him with confusion all over his face "Yah Bare-su, not like I had a choice" Ha-ri scoffed "I'm an A" Same as On-jo and Su-hyeok "I'm AB as well"

"so there's no one with the blood type O among us?" They all shook their heads "I'm an O" They heard a soft voice speak up, and they turned around to see a tall girl with bangs standing there

"And I've had no health or blood problems, I can give out blood to your friend" They all got a ray of hope "Omg thank youu" On-jo said "Thank you so much Miss, what is your name?" Su-hyeok asked the blonde girl

"Lalisa"
