Chapter 1 - Beginnings

  Y/N's POV

After finishing reading the last chapters of TBATE at...1:00AM! I jumped straight out of my chair and headed towards my bed to sleep as I still had a messed up sleep schedule, as usual.

I tucked myself into the blankets as I drifted to sleep. Until, I heard a voice and a bright light flashed into my eyes. I was stuck in a bright room

"You have been chosen." ??? said

"What do you mean? Who are you?" I asked with a hint of fear and concern.

"You have been chosen to go into the story called, The Beginning After The End. You were chosen because of your passion towards the story and you emotions tied to that as well. You will be transported in 5 seconds."

"W-Wait!" I yelled. But it was too late as a bright light blinded me for a few seconds before appearing in a different world...in a younger age?!

Y/N's POV

A light flashed in front of me and I was surrounded by darkness and lost consciousness shortly after. I had woken up with a core already formed and an egg beside me to help with my mission. I walked around the forest gathering berries for food as the sky grew darker and needed to survive with the berries in the forest.

  Arthur Leywin's POV

I walked through the forest and saw slaves traders around a carriage where there was a young elf girl with grey hair.

I was about to go help when I saw other slave traders trying the kill a small girl.

A Moment Later

I arrived but was high on the trees to stay hidden. I heightened my hearing senses to hear them. They were slave traders. It was an elf girl that had been kidnapped.

I didn't attack head on though because it would be suicide for me. I followed, waited, and gathered strength to make my move when their guards were down.

Time Skip

Without a weapon, I was forced to utilize a technique from the previous life. I had to use a technique I wasn't even sure would work in this world.

I distracted the dogs with a noise to a tree beside me so the slave traders would try and calm them down.

I put mana into my hand as a weapon to defend myself and charged at one of the slave traders and slit his throat when he was off guard.

He died instantly so I took his knife from his coat. "Thank you for the weapon." Soon after he died, the hounds began to drool and devoured his body.

The slave traders started to wonder why the hounds are quiet and why it's taking so long to come back. One of them went to look and saw his bloody body as I snuck behind him holding his mouth so he wouldn't alert the others.

As expected...fighting is a lot harder and tiresome in this body. I should finish this quickly while the last two are still slee-
"MHMPH ISH SHUMUN DER?! FWEESG HELK 'E!" The elf girl inside muffled out creating noise. Dammit?! Why Now?!
