Movie Night 🍿

Monami wakes up to find Karan getting ready in front of the mirror.

M - Good Morning Karan.

K - Morning Monami .

They both smiled at each other.
Karan came and kissed Monami's forehead.

K - Tum jaldi se freshen ho jayo , main breakfast lag vata ho. Okay !?

M- Hmm , main abhi aati ho ready hoke.

Karan went to instruct their househelp.

Monami got ready and was coming down the stairs. They both sat together for the breakfast.

Karan served Monami and then served himself. They finished their breakfast with some random talks.

K - Acha Monami , ab main tumhe drop kar deta ho  , come let's go.

M - Ha ek second , main apna bag le aati ho.

K - Tum rehne do , main lekar aata ho .

M - okay  , tab tak main tumhara bahar wait karti ho.

K - alright !

Karan came out with her bag.

M - Karan , main soch rhi thi ki main khud hi drive karke chali jati ho , tum aise hi pareshan hoge.

K - Arré , main tumhe drop kar deta ho na .

M - Nhi na karan , vaise bhi bahut time ho gya maine drive nhi kiya  , aaj mera bahut mann kar rha hai , main khud chali jaungi. Tum tension mat lo.

K - Sure na monami ? Tum chaho toh main tumhe drop kar deta ho.

M - Nhi , I am sure , main chali jaungi.

K - Chalo thik hai , dhyaan se drive karna , vaha pahunch kar ek baar call kar dena aur lunch time pe bhi call karna , apna dhyaan rakhna , okay !?

M -  Acha thik hai baba , dhyaan rakhungi , tum bhi apna dhyaan rakhna.

K - Hmm

They both hugged each other.

K - Take care ! ( Karan kissed her head)

M - You too. Bye !

K- Good bye , see you at the evening.

Monami sat in her car and drove from there , Karan kept looking at the retreating figure and getting assured , he sat in his Jeep and drove to the academy.

It was yet another hectic day for both of them.

Karan got some free time during lunch , so he called her.

She was all exhausted and was sitting while putting her head down. When she saw it was Karan's call , she got excited and picked the call up.

K - Hi

M  - Hello Karan .

K - Kaisa chal rha hai sab , Rani sahiba ?

M - Bahut acha , tum batao ?

K - Yaha pe bhi sab acha hai. Tum bahut tired sound kar rhi ho.

M - Ha bas aise hi .

K - Monami , kaam ka overload mat lena. Thoda time khud patient ban kar relax karna. Samjhi ?

M - Ha ha Karan , main apna dhyaan rakh rhi ho.

Till then a nurse comes and calls Monami for some emergency.

M- Karan main tumse baad me baat karti ho. I'll have to go.

K - okay , raat ko ghar par milte hai phir.

They both again got busy in their respective works.

At Night ,

Karan reached home , and was waiting for Monami to come.
He was about to call her when he saw her coming inside in a messy state.

Karan gave her a glass of water which she drank.

K - Tired ho ?

M - Ha bahut .

She sat on the sofa.
Karan came behind the sofa and started massaging her head .

M - Thank you so much Karan , tumhare bina mera kya hota !?

K - Wahi haal hota jo mera tumhare bina hota. ( with a smile)

Monami also chuckled.

K- Monami , kal humari holiday hai toh kyu na hum

Karan was cut off by Monami

M- Hum kya ?

Karan leaned towards her and said in her ears

K - Movie dekhe , what say ? Aaj ek movie night ho jaye , vaise bhi aaj ghar par koi nhi hai , toh bahar se pizza order kar lete hai ?

M - Good idea , hum fresh bhi ho jayenge.

K - Jao Tum change kar aao , main bhi change kar leta ho.

M(saluting him) - Yes sir.

They both laughed a bit.

After changing ,
Karan came and settled himself on the couch , while Monami came after sometime and sat beside him.

They sat and started watching the movie.
Karan encircled her hand around her neck and Monami leaned towards him , putting her head on his arm.

In the interval, they decided to order some pizza.

The bell rang , and they paused the movie .

M- Main le kar aati ho.

Karan nodded his head.

Monami went there and opened the door  , saw the delivery boy .
She gave him the cash and was about to take the pizza ,when the delivery boy deliberately tried to touch her hands.

M- Yeh kya kar rhe hai aap bhaiya ?

DB - Kuch bhi toh nhi ma'am. Voh galti se touch ho gya.

M - Acha ? Galti se touch ho gya !?

While Karan after listening to the conversation , came out and saw Monami arguing.

K - Kya hua ?

He came and side hugged her.

DB - kuch nhi sir voh maine delivery kar di ab main chalta ho. ( He said fumbling and left.)

K- kya hua Monami , kuch problem hai kya , yeh aise bhaaga kyu ?

M- kuch nhi , usne deliberately mere haath touch kiye aur phir kehta galti ho gyi madam ( mimicking him)

K -  What !! Tumhe mujhe pehle batana chahiye tha na , usse toh main chodta nhi. Huh ( hand fisted in anger)

M - arré chodo na usse tum apna mood spoil mat karo , hum apni movie night enjoy karte hai.

K- Aise kaise . Tumhe mujhe batana chahiye tha na .

M - Shh , Mr Shergill , apna mood kharab mat kariye , chalo movie continue karte hai.

K- Hmm.

They had their food and then again their eyes  were fixed on the tv screen.

After a while ,

Monami was sobbing looking at the movie , she turned  her gaze towards Karan  and saw him fast asleep.

M- Lo , issi ne hi plan banaya , aur khud hi  soo bhi gya. Iska kuch nhi ko sakta.

Monami then looked at his cute face and kissed his forehead , switched off the television , and slept hugging him.
