The Next Day ,

K - Ashi , Monami kahan hai !?

Ashi was about to speak when her phone rang ,

A- hello !?

A - yeah , okay ! Main aati ho bahar  , you just wait there.

The call ended.

A - chaliye papa , bahar . Mumma aa gyi.

Karan nodded ,

A - ek baar phir soch lijiye papa.

K - Jo sochna tha soch liya Ashi  , mujhe ab Monami se milna hai.

A- thik hai phir , chaliye bahar.

Karan nods and everyone leaves to see Monami .
Karan's heart skip a beat on seeing an ambulance there.

K(cracking voice ) - yeh ?

A - Bhaiya , mumma ko bahar nikaliye.

The ward boy nodded and they took out Monami.

K(crying) - Monami !? Yeh kya hua Monami ko , aur yeh sab kya hai ?

He saw Monami lying on a stretcher with oxygen support , eyes closed and face turned pale.

K- Monami ! Monami , utho na , dekho tumhara khadoos shergill tumhe keh rha hai , uth jao please.

F(keeping his hands on his shoulders) - Karan , sambhalo apne aap ko.

K (shouts) - Monami !

While Ashi turned her face the other side , not being able to look at his condition.
Sid came near Ashi for her support , looked into her eyes and nodded.

A- bhaiya , aap mumma ko andar le jao . Maine saare arrangements karva diye hai. Buddy , aap inhe please room dikha do.

Sid nodded and was about to take Monami ,

K- nhi Monami , kahi nhi jayengi. Jab tak mujhe pta nhi chalega ki isse hua kya hai !? Aur yeh yeh uth kyu nhi rhi ?

A(expressionless face ) - maine kaha tha papa , aap mumma ko nhi dekh payenge .

Karan looked towards Ashi , still sobbing.

A(in a cold tone) - mumma , mumma coma me hai from the past 3 years .

All looked at her shocked .

Ward boy - ma'am , aap please patient ko shift kar lijiye , hume aage bhi jaana hai.

Ashi nodded and went towards Monami , while Karan stood there in a shock.

They took Monami inside , while Faizi came near and held his shoulder.

K(weeping) - Faizi yaar yeh kya ho gya meri Rani sahiba ko.

F- shh , Karan abhi yeh sab baat karke time waste nhi karna chahiye , Monami ko tumhari zarurat hai , tumhe uske paas hona chahiye.

Karan nodded and ran towards their room.

In their room :

Ashi was sitting besides Monami and caressing her head.
Karan came and sat on the other side , holding Monami's hand in his.

K(looking towards Monami and weeping)  - yeh sab kaise hua ?

A(in a cold tone) - accident hua tha , mumma ki car ka balance bigad gya , ek bache ko bachne ke chakkar me . Unki car ek ped par takaraa gyi ,

A- mujhe vaha ke locals ne call karke btaya ki mumma ka accident hua hai aur voh unhe city hospital le kar jaa rhe hai , main vaha pahunch gyi , aur mumma se mili bhi. Par unhone mujhe bas yahi kaha ki aapko meri zarurat hai , isliye main aapke paas aa jao , aapki protection karu.

A(weeping) - itne saalon se main aapke paas hi rahe rhi thi , aapko protect kar rhi thi. Par aap par hamale bdte rhe isliye mujhe aapke paas aana pda.

Karan looks at Monami's face and cries thinking how much she struggled without him.

K(crying) - ab doctors ne kya kaha , Monami kab tak coma se bahar nikalegi ?

A- doctors ne hope chodd di hai , unhone mujhe mumma ka life support hatane ko kaha , par maine , maine manna kar diya , main mumma ko jaane nhi dungi.

Karan weeps listening to Ashi. The thought of Monami being far away made him restless , while Ashi thought of giving Karan some space , so she went outside.

Karan took Monami in his embrace. He pulled her and rested her head on his chest  , making her listen to his heartbeat which beats only for his Rani sahiba.

K (in soft tone ) - Monami , tum mujhse aise badle nhi le sakti , kis cheez ka badle le rhi ho , huh !? Aise kaise kar sakti ho tum , pehle mujhe Bina kuch btaye bas gayab ho gyi , aur ab his halat me vapis aayi ho.

K(weeps) - utho na Rani Sahiba , mujhe aise mat tadpao , uth jao.

Karan then kisses her forehead , and lays her back on the bed disappointingly.

At the evening :

Karan was still sitting besides Monami and looking at her face ,

F - Karan , kab tak yaha bethoge , kuch toh kha lo , tumne subah se kuch nhi khaya hai.

K- nhi Faizi , mujhe bhook nhi hai.

Faizi sighs , and stares at Karan .
Just then , Ashi comes inside the room , and sees a plate in Faizi's hand.

Ashi asks Faizi through her eyes , while he tells his problem through actions.

Ashi nods .

K(holding her hand) - Monami , utho na , main tumhare bina nhi jee paunga , please uth jao .

Seeing no response , he turns his head to the other side .

' Karan ! '
