Mistakenly falling in love

Mall shenanigans

About 30 minutes of driving while me and storm screaming the lyrics to every song playing we arrive to the half packed mall.

I park the car near the doors and storm unbuckles her seatbelt.

"Yess I love the malllllll" she sorta yells

"Okay but be careful there's cars still driving storm"I say coming to the side of her after getting out the car and locking it.

"Can we get a drink and snacks before shopping"storm says excitingly

"Okayy let's get inside" I say walking across the cross walk while I hold her hands.

We walk through the double doors and a fresh breeze of food filled our noses.

She instantly runs to the pretzel place across the opening doors and I follow after her walking slowly.

"I want a plain salted pretzel wit a sour strawberry slushy pleaseeee" she say with puppy eyes

"Okay but remember it's only 10 am so we do have to get food before we leave" I say while smiling at her

"Hi, welcome to pretzel palace, what can I get for you pretty ladies" the nice older man said to us

"Tell him what you want storm"I say to her

"Hii can I have a large regular salt pretzel and a small sour strawberry slushy please and thank you"she say smiling

"Okay got it pretty one and what about you beautiful" he says

"I'll just have a medium lemonade slushy thank you" I say looking from storm to him

"Okay that'll be $9.34" he says
I hand him my debit card and he swipes it and does all the purchasing things for it and hands it back to me.

"I'll have that ready in a few minutes"he say smiling at us both

We wait for about 2-3 mins

"Okay a small sour strawberry slush and big pretzel and a medium lemonade slushy" he says handing each of our things to us

"Thank you" me and storm say in unison as we was about to walk away

"Is that your daughter" he say

"Uhh.." I say freezing before responding

"Yeah she is" I say without thinking of what else to say

"Well you and your mother are very beautiful, have a nice day ladies " he say waving at us

" thank you" storm say while walking away biting her food

" thanks" is all I say while walking away behind storm

Do I look that old that people think this is my daughter, I think to my self. I push the thought to the side when I see storm walk inside a store

I look up and the big sign that say Toy barn I look back and see storm grabbing a cart and putting her drink inside she starts walking to the fidgets to the left.

"Omgggg they have sooooo many FIDGETSSSS, look Hazel look at them" she screams out

"I see" I say laughing

" you can pick out a few if that's what you want"I say coming behind the cart by the arm rest

" I already know what I want" she say walking away from the cart to the big pink fidgets

I look at her and then I take my phone out of my purse and unlock it
