Omegavers notes- Omegas

Mostly for myself so I don't forget my version of alohas and omegas-

This chapter's about Omegas:

Omega's are the smallest population only taking up 15-20% of the population,
Which makes the Dark market make a lot of money selling off Omegas for sex or even food. Most Omegas learn at a young age about how unfair they're fit in life is.

Anatomy

Omega's are very weak and petite, there is more fat than muscle on their body since it's harder to gain strength for Omegas.
Stronger omega's (with muscle) are rare and typically the most seeked out, but everyone has a preference. Both females and males have ovaries and uterus. Omega's also have slightly wider hips. Omega males DO have penises but they are not able to impregnate others more have a knot.
Skeletons are the rare case to have both, but their male anatomy is typically smaller. So most prefer their female bodies.

Heat's

Omega's have what is called a "heat". Which is similar to an Alpha's Rut. A period of time in which Omega's have an intense sexual frustration and have a desperate need to be knotted and impregnated. Just as Rut Suppresents there are "Heat Suppresents" as well, they basically have the same side effects. Omega's shouldn't use them too often, biology must take its course. During a Omega's heat, their bodies create a translucent substance known as "slick". Slick lubricates an Omega's "entrance". It as well entices an Alpha to actually mate with them.
it's best to be around other omega's they trust or an alpha they trust. Most will hide away till it's over however since Most alphas take advantage of this time to force themselves upon omega's.

Some buildings have special basements for omega's who go into heat suddenly to protect against alphas.

Nesting

When in stressful situations Omega's have a coping mechanism called "nesting". Nesting consists of building a literal fort out of any soft material that could be used as a comforter. Omega's will nest A LOT during and after pregnancy. They feel it's the safest place for their pups or Kits(felines), or if they feel unsafe or paranoid.

Omega's are naturally motherly.

The worst thing that can happen to a omega is losing their pup or feeling like they did. Worst cases cause suicide or the Omega falling into a downward spiral of self-hatred...

Or hatred and sometimes murder of Alphas.

Omega's get very emotionally attached to their alpha.
Compared to a alpha Omegas rely on emotion. Omega's natural scent calms Alphas down, especially if it's a omega their attracted to or want. But no matter who a omega distraught and scared scents will put a alpha (or even beta sometimes) nerves on end with fight or flight.

Omega's don't take Alpha cheating very well, especially if pregnant or with a pup. And is willing to kill over their pup (or who they consider their 'young' such as a little singing or even a random kid being abused)

Skeleton omega's souls are very fragile.compared to alphas, and are easy to shatter and kill if put through so much emotional damage and trauma.
