" Putting My Trust in You. "

2 weeks have passed since Polly was first awoken from cryogenic sleep. Scott talked to his mom and tried to explain everything to the best of his abilities, and to his surprise she was okay with Polly staying with them, as long as she doesn't try to harm Scott or any of the children she cares for. Everyday Scott tries his best to learn more about her and tries to gain her trust. The two would sit across each other in the spare bedroom, which is now Polly's room, and talk; mostly about Scott and his friends instead of Polly, who doesn't want to talk about herself. Over the course of fourteen days, the two have grown to like each other. Scott enjoyed sitting in silence with Polly, while she didn't mind it too much; as long as it wasn't an awkward silence. Every now and then the pair would walk around Beacon Hills — Scott shows her all the important places she needs to know, while Polly takes in all the information, telling him how much the town has changed since she's seen it last.

By the fourth day of Scott trying to befriend Polly, he introduced Kira to her. For the whole day he left Polly alone with Kira, Lydia, and Malia; thinking it would be best if she got to know the girls in the group before introducing her to what boys are in the group. It took a while for Polly to warm up to Kira, unlike Lydia and Malia who she already somewhat trusted. Lydia insisted on taking Polly shopping for her clothes, buying her whatever her little heart desired. It took a while to find something that Polly would wear, because she wasn't used to how 'scandalous' and 'prostitute-like' clothes are now and days— Malia compared her to a grandma when she said that. Once the three girls returned Polly back to Scott's house, they bonded over a few things, but it was still very obvious that Polly felt out of place; not only with the girls but in today's society too. Polly only spoke to Kira once more before the black haired girl left for a trip with her parents.

By the ninth day Polly told Scott she was okay with meeting the rest of his friends. Originally he wanted to wait as long as she wanted to, not wanting to rush her into something she didn't want to do. So later that day Scott introduced her to Liam and Mason, Stiles too but she had already met him. Both the sophomores knew about Polly — Scott informed the two about her — but they never met until the ninth day. Scott and Stiles allowed Mason and Liam to chill with Polly, the two boys tried to show her their favorite video games, which only made her confused; not updated with today's technology. For the first time, Polly brought up a small story that she went through which was similar to the game they showed her, the two boys were in love with Polly by the time she was done sharing her story. Once the sun began to set, Scott got a call from his mom, telling him she got something for Polly and she wondered if Polly could come home to see it.

When Polly got home, she walked into the house and saw multiple large boxes spread out across the living room. Melissa had bought Polly a whole new bedroom set — she left everything plain, so Polly can decorate and set up her room however she pleased. Melissa just thought it would be nice that, now Polly's living with them, she should have her own furniture instead of furniture other people have used before. Polly appreciated the gesture, but she didn't know what to do with everything, never in her life did she have the opportunity to have her own belongings, that were only for her and no one else. She also signed Polly up for high school, with Noah's, Stiles' father's, help they managed to put her into senior year; from what she understood Polly never officially went to school, but she did get some form of an education. An outdated education. But still, Polly thanked Melissa profusely.
